Hello, Julia you have to try the food (Sopa Seca de Carapulcra) is a traditional dish of Peruvian gastronomy, especially popular in the coastal and mountain region of the country. Despite being called "dry soup," it is not a soup in the traditional sense, but rather a thick, flavorful stew. Carapulcra is prepared mainly with dehydrated potatoes, meat (generally pork or chicken), peanuts, ají panca, garlic, onion, cumin, pepper and a side of yucca. To prepare it, you begin by soaking the dehydrated potatoes in water to soften them. Then, a dressing is prepared with onion, garlic, ají panca and other spices, to which the meat is added so that it cooks and mixes well with the flavors. Personalmente no me gusta que algunos extranjeros, en su afan de ser creativos , cojan un plato típico de un pais x y le metan tres tonterías y digan que es fusión, prueba ir a Italia y meterle algo distinto a una pizza o pasta y veras como en minutos te echan fel restaurante, te lo aseguro, una cosa es ser original y otra copión..

Honestly, I can't see any "Venezuelan" Peruvian fusion at El Clon,, the dishes were just like regular dishes you would find in many Peruvian restaurants.
