This is so true. I truely believe I understand why each passed before the next. Andy couldn't handle his fame and fortune. It destroyed him. Maurice would not have been able to continue without his twin. He returned to his drinking after they lost Andy, and I believe with Robin gone, he would have literally bottomed out, so he left, and Robin finally performed with Berry. When Robin passed, it was so heartbreaking for Berry, because now he was truly the man standing. The great thing though, is this fantastic human being was not ready to give it all up. He continued to write songs, and finally got to do things that he really wanted to do. What a man! I thank God that He gave these young boys talents and a deep desire to go after their dreams. Bless Berry, his family, and all that love the Bee Gees.

Barry has tremendous insight and I enjoy listening to him sharing these insights with us ! He’s been through considerable loss. It can change a person .. it can sink you or make you a better person. I lost one of my sons and the pain is gut wrenching but I vowed from the beginning I wouldn’t sink.. mainly for my husband and other two children .. but also for myself and my son in Heaven! I admire and respect Barry very much !

Barry Gibb is an amazing human being. He has touched so many lives in the course of his lifetime, it's remarkable. I have had the privilege of growing up with the Bee Gees and for this I feel truly blessed for such an amazing experience. Barry Gibb has continues to write songs that reflect his life and the memories and experiences that he has endured. All I can say is....bravo Barry, you did it!

I have blessed to grow up with the Brothers Gibbs or Bee Gees, they carried me through so many hard times with their songs. The In the Now Album has so many that I can connect with also. It’s like he knows how we feel in the phases of our lives. Sir Barry I take my hat off to you. You and the brothers showed/show so much love to us fans that it is so Surreal. My reaction to "In the Now" lyrics: This is Barry, aging and alone without his brothers, and coping by reflecting back on his meeting Linda who was then a teenager, and then relishing and re-living their union. Folks, these memories are a natural occurrence as we age and help fill the void left by loss - loss of loved ones, loss of youth. Yet again Barry Gibb masterfully tells the story in words and music.

Such a fantastic person! I love his and all his brothers music. His voice is so mesmerizing and when combines with is bothers it was magic. I love that Sir Barry explained his meaning behind the lyrics. I really like listening to him talk as well, he has a melodic way of speaking that draws one in and grabs your attention. ( he also has the cutest laugh--not on here but in other interviews with his brothers). At least he lives in a warm sunny climate, by the grace of God, I hope it helps him live a longer, healthier, happy life.

Yes, you’re so right! Sometimes I read the lyrics of contemporary songs and I just can’t make any sense from them, because there is none. But Barry’s and Bee Gees songs are beautiful. Barry still does a great job and his music makes me cry over and over. I am so sorry that Barry has had to go through all this grief, I feel so bad for him. That said, I am so glad he has his family and that he also contributes to bringing the Gibb cousins together in music too❣️ And so glad he keeps making beautiful music like he does, having sons and niece participating - it is just so wonderful❣️

I think he's the greatest songwriter who ever lived, even better than Lennon-McCartney just by sheer volume. I mean look at Paul McCartney, when it the last good song that guy wrote? Barry though pumps out great songs consistently.

Well Paul made quite a few great songs back in the 1970's after leaving the Beatles with his then band"Wings" One of those songs was Live and let Die" for the Bond Movie.

In my opinion: 1- As a song writer, Barry Gibb is much better than Paul McCartney. His songs has deeper emotion than Beatles' . In addition, all songs Barry wrote for many other singers always went to the top hit. Examples: Barbara Streisand (Woman In Love ), Diana Ross ( Experience, Chain Reaction ), Dolly Parton & Kenny Roger ( Island in the stream), Celine Dion ( Immortality) and many many more.... 2- As a singer, Barry's voice is better than Paul McCartney, because his voice has sensational, unique.

Can't wait to buy In The Now! It's more than great he's made all these songs out about his feelings and put them down for us to enjoy. He probably doesn't think he's a legend but he absolutely is! I've enjoyed their song's lyrics and music since a teenager in the 60's!
