Totally agree with you The weak point of Barry hiding his ID from anyone he interacts with frequently is there is nothing to disguise his voice. As Kramer works closely with Barry it should have been totally obvious who the Flash was as well as the fact his mask doesn't cover that much of his face. But comic book physics and witness stupidity rules I guess. The writers really need to pull their heads our of the 1950's and think with today's tech. Stargirl is another show where there is no way her ID can remain secret given that small mask.

I get it when he is interacting with people who already know or people who don't know Barry, like random citizens but when it is someone who knows Barry but not know he is Flash, he should do more to disguise himself. I would think the voice vibration at least budget wise is cheaper than the face blurring.

Correct if I’m wrong but Barry revealing his identity to the entire world isn’t necessary. Unlike with Kara and Oliver, Villians have never truly cared about his secret identity. And also the citizens at least for now they don’t care much about it either.

@@doctorrpg6255 There are other factors at play for Supergirl and Superman. How they hold themselves and the very fact that they don't have masks. Because they don't wear a mask, people assume that there is no secret identity. They let everybody know their name and where they live... So why would they think there is a secret identity??? And they make enough differences that people don't connect them together... Like, seriously, they can't tell that a generic blond girl looks like another generic blond girl?? Nobody even thinks there is a secret identity.... and look at how Christopher Reeves held himself as Clark and Superman... it shows a lot how much he disguises himself in ways that wouldn't be as obvious unless if you were already in the know.

I just want to point out that having a mask which completely vanishes at the press of a specific spot is more risky than a regular form fitting mask. One accidental tap because he was sent flying or someone grabbed him, or he had to hold his neck to brace for impact and that's it. Identity gone

More than likely budget reasons on the network's part. My guess though, is that in universe it's basically become an open secret within the department; they all know or at least suspect Barry is the Flash, but don't say anything, even as Barry becomes much more lax with keeping his secret ID a secret, not that he was ever good at hiding it to begin with. Singh and Kramer both figured it out on their own, guaranteed they aren't the only ones.

Everybody in this show knows. In contrast, I recall a cartoon where Flash and Lex Luthor switched bodies and had to fake through each other's lives for a while. Lex goes into the bathroom, smirks at the mirror and says, "well at least I can find out the secret identity of the Flash!" He takes of the mask, stares at the reflection, and sighs, "I have no idea who this is."

Another trope of recent media i'm sick of is writers thinking fans want every character to had a journey to finding out the identity of the superhero. Like no. Kramer is a nice character. A good detective and woman. Her rightfully not knowing who the Flash is doesn't invalidate that it just weakens the writing and character of Barry.

nah its the way the season is roled out. So basically we have 3 storylines in this season and in between there are the interlude episodes which are standalone episodes. Next weeks is the last standalone. I think its a nice way of doing the seasons.

Guys know what weirds me out is people spend day in and day out working with Barry Allen for years you think they would know his face. Even if I didn't know Barry Allen was the flash I would be able to see that the part of the his face that isn't covered he's so recognizable

That's the one and many reason, I like Clarke and Bruce,because they don't share there secret identity with everyone. There's about 200 people who knows Barry secret identity by now, and the last time I checked,the world smallest country, population is 94, so an entire country knows who Barry is, why wear a mask if he's going to do that.

Not “absorb”, but more like “mimic” the power of other metas in proximity of her. And as she stated in tonight’s episode, she can’t really control her abilities to the point where she’s sometimes using them unintentionally & unknowingly to her.

No I think she worked it out because you aren't even disguising your voice anymore, let alone blurring your face. And there could be more than one way to escape the bracelet, as far as they know The Flash could phase other people through objects.
