The more things change the more they stay the same. An off year in Tampa then the following year they bounce back and win like 90 plus games to follow. As a Red Sox fan I hate it as a rival but as baseball fan I appreciate and respect what they have done.

The Rays have been an absolute pitching factory for the past 10 years. Their scouting department is levels above the rest of the AL East

I really hate the arguement of "They only played trash teams" they won every single game besides 1 by 4+ points while putting up the most homeruns in the league by a mile and being top 5 in almost every other category. They have shown they have the ability to be a juggernaut this year.

Not to mention rays aren't the only team who played bad teams and didn't sweep them. Yanks lost to Philly and Baltimore. I usally use that argument in other sports because you can. Like NFL Seahawks played bad teams and barely won. But this is different because baseball is different and hard to consistently win unlike other sports not only that but they did what a good team is supposed to vs bad teams and that is dominate.

Tampa bay rays fans are so lucky. How did this team fall into my lap as a fan? It’s so rewarding to see them succeed against the odds and evolve ahead of teams trying to imitate their innovations.

Amazing title! Lol but yes love how the rays do their thing low-key, quiet and seems they are always competitive, always doubted as well, but that organization can sure develope and produce great pitching! It's a pitching factory in the world of baseball.

Good Job for the Rays. I know there's a lot of hate comments about the team right now about them playing "mediocre" teams but it's impressive with that payroll.

The team performs amazingly well but it's such a shame they're stuck in that dump that is the Trop. Before anyone attacks me, I'm from Tampa and have been going to games for my whole life. The place is awful and needs to be demolished.

Agreed, just went to the game last night to watch them go 11-0 and as nice as it is to go into the stadium and get out with practically no traffic I have to say a stadium in tampa would be much better

It’s idiotic to have a stadium on a freakin sandbar (St. Petersburg) build it in a more widely accessible area that more fans can make it to games. Cutting off everyone on the east side of the state is why the Trops numbers are so low.

The first 25 games is just a warm up. Upon the 26th through 136 that will prove how good a team really is. This start is good for Baseball as a hole and I hope it continues. The AL East is gonna be highly entertaining

We’ve beaten the Red Sox 1-0 game one and 7-2 in game two. The Red Sox had the second best offense coming into Tampa right behind us. So yeah, we can beat the 2nd best offensive team in MLB at the moment. Also, we are one of the lowest payroll teams in MLB so we shouldn’t even be beating the first three teams we swept because their payroll is 2-3X ours.

Their pitching staff is way to good to finish last, the only rotation that even has a chance of coming close to the Rays is the Yankees, and that’s coming from a Jays fan
