Very unfair of you, Nick, to tease us with the images of beautiful scenery while I’m sat in a caravan, wasting the day, as the rain pours down outside! Looking forward to seeing all your trip videos in 2024.
An exciting year ahead Nick. Thanks for sharing your plans with us. I agree with your tactic for the Lake District, I’ve been thinking the same for some 2024 adventures. Our weather seems so unpredictable these days and you don’t want to be committed to a trip just to watch the rain 🤷🏻♂. I visited the Peak District for the first time last year and have planned another visit this year to explore more of it, I loved it so much last year. Looking forward to travelling with you in 2024 via your superb vlogs. Happy New Year Nick
Can’t wait to see your 2024 Adventures Nick. Morvich in May the weather should be not too bad but it’s the Highlands you never know lol. Sounds like you’re going to have another great year of Basecamping. I’ve got a week at the quiet site booked in March, Inverness in April and a weekend near Roslyn in May June and July are left open at the moment August is Invercoe and North Ledaig nothing so far in September then I’m off on a paraffin budgie to Sorento in October for a week a holiday that was planned before lockdown and got cancelled. I’m really looking forward to our Adventures next year not bothered about the weather it’s what you make of it. Keep the vlogs coming mate you’re an inspiration to many. Hope to bump into you on a site some time we can have a few wee drams 🥃🥃🏴🏴
We have our 2024 booked we start with City break in Bath in April then 3 weeks touring South Wales from Cardiff to the Gower, Pembrokeshire and finishing in the Breacon Beacons then a break till September with a week in the Lake Disrict with our canoe. Just hope we get lucky with the weather. I am retired now and having the time of my life. Let hope we all have a good year!
Hoping to get a Basecamp 2 this year so looking forward to planning some grand adventures in it. Looks like you have some great ones planned this year.
Happy New year Nick. Thank you for all you do. Movich is fantastic but you may need a long aerial cable to connect you to their TV antenna. We couldn't get a signal with the one on our caravan.
I would like to walk Hadrians Wall at some point and explore the wider area. Thanks for the nudge as I will revisit a plan for Northumberland. With all of this it’s when to fit it in! I understand Hadrians Wall is best walked in the spring summer due to the footpaths being boggy in the wetter months🤔
Watching this for inspiration & nice to see your using caravan to the full. Wondered if you had any thoughts & preference on either caravan and motorhome, camping caravan club or sticking to private sites.
This is a good question. I’ve covered it in the main in this Vlog called ‘the perfect pitch’:- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CFXG4Esw3ts.htmlsi=U4gGUZ1guajFKIzY However I’ve not included the comparisons between the clubs because I don’t have experience with the Camping and Caravan Club. I hear it’s more relaxed than the Caravan and Motorhome Club (of which I’m a member) and with less rules but I can’t qualify that as I’ve not stayed on one.
@@FlyCampCaravanNorthWalesAh, the infamous “I had to edit this video because people got upset that I had the audacity to have an opinion of my own” video! 😂 for what it’s worth, I broadly agreed with the opinions, both pre and post edit.
@@hmallett yes that’s the one…. Softened the narrative is certain places. I’m still learning to create interesting and informative content and don’t always get it right.
