Greetings,
This video will show you how to find the overall brick volume in a small house in Revit, and how to make a material schedule in Autodesk Revit.

How come all finishing layers (front and back) have the same value? Wouldn’t you expect the volume of the layer at an inside to be slightly smaller than the layer on the outside of the wall?

what is the major difference b/w "Material take off & normal schedule ?
@FirasNoori
@FirasNoori 2 года назад
They allow sub object or sub wall schedule, giving the details of part of an architectural element, like calculating brick in a mult layer wall

@@FirasNoori if we want to get brick plaster or Brick's frog mortar then wht should we use? Schedule quantity or material take off Which one?

Better to calculate the number of bricks you have in a wall and then multiply that by the area or the volume [either assumed or precisely calculated from knowing the perimeter length if the single brick multiple by the thickness of the mortar multiple the depth of the brick] all to be multiple by the number of the bricks u got I a wall, lots of estimators has fixed schudle or factor to find it too
