Just ordered my grey cards and color chart. Nice to know what I'm doing right and where I can improve, appreciate you sharing your knowledge and taking the time to put out such a condensed and informative video...maybe the most helpful single video for me so far in the hobby.
Glad it has helped looking forward to seeing the results. As far as the grey card thats great and can be used to set your white balance the color chart is mostly for video stuff but if your mostly shooting in standard camera profile it would be unnecessary, thankfully amazon has a good return policy lol
@@NixonReptiles good to know thanks! Yes, currently I don't have a good enough camera for video imo. The one on my DSLR is awful and my iphone turns light oranges and yellows to gold which drives me nuts lol.
@@realnewsnowshorts it’s a huge pain to set that stuff up but I’ll try and figure it out. It’s generally white balance lifting the whites then a brush for the background and increasing the exposure to get solid white.
Thanks for putting this together. I know it had to have been a painful one! Can I ask what type of smaller, more mobile tripod you would recommend? It would be used primarily to help get more dynamic video shots. Thanks again and awesome content as always!
Personally I just have my camera on a tripod typically and move the animal to it. They are too small to be moving the camera to them and move to much. Overall these days by shooting in 60-120fps for slow motion you can do alot of that stuff handheld with no issues. Thats the long way of saying any tripod will do I have had the same one for like 10 plus years now eventually ill get another one.
