I will always remember both this and the Smash Ultimate DLC as some of the craziest and most speculation filled moments from the Switch era, and as it's coming to a close, I'm honored to have taken part in both of them :)

Anyone notice how Ninja Hideaway is secretely another Wario course (due to those fish statues having Wario noses, some garlic iconography and the instrumentation of the music being very WarioWare-esque) and that’s like, the fourth one in this game?

I can't remember which is funnier: gamers acting like it was the holocaust against gamers that grass had no texture, when they acted like it was the holocaust that Sunset Wilds had no Sunset, or when they acted like it was the holocaust that there's only 11/16 MKW nitros in the game.
@@JacobTheToadMan I'd have taken that (or literally any other course in franchise history, including the most basic of the basic courses Mario Circuit 1 on the SNES) instead of the atrocity (using this word because of the Fire Emblem meme earlier in the video, and the name of Dimitri's signature weapon needs a shout out) that is Los Angeles Laps. As for Sunset Wilds, I didn't really care about the descent into nighttime from lap to lap, but I'm still a little disappointed in the lack of "group hug".
I'm just very glad they included the "atmosphere re-entry" effect when you fall of Wii Rainbow Road. No joke, this was the first thing I checked when racing on this track for the first time.

I gotta love the Party Crashers bit at the end, but by far my favorite was the SNES Bowser Castle 3 one. I don't think you could've found a more fitting meme if you tried

@@JacobTheToadMan,you should Make a video about the missing Features;the FREAKING SUNSET in GBA Sunset Wilds & the Absent Sound Effect in DS Waluigi Pinball you would normally hear when passed beyond or between the Flippers,Mario Kart Tour has both of these & the Nintendo Switch Online Gameboy Advance Do have the GBA Sunset Wilds Sunset so they better bring both of these recognizable Gimmicks back!!!
So genuinely the ending made me tear up hearing the staff credits music from the booster course pass DLC. It was such a lovely surprise and add on that Nintendo went out of their way to add for the booster course pass DLC. it is one of my favorite songs from the Mario Kart Series

As someone who wanted both Airship Fortress and Delfino Square in the Booster Pass, I sorta took it like a champ. While i am still sad that these 2 didn't get added in, I'm just glad we finally got Waluigi Pinball in it. And the fans should be grateful we got Wii Rainbow Road and Funky Kong back in MK8 Deluxe.

it's really weird cause i thought they were adding all these city tracks to advertise mario kart tour but they shut down development on that game. They just wanted to preserve the tracks which is honestly kinda honorable on their part even if they feel less inspired than the original tracks
