Another press of the PTO RPM button in the dash should bring up the 1000 display - owners manual says the button allows you to alternate according to the shaft in use.
You don't need to. I engage the pto when stopped with the mower so I don't hurt the mower's slip clutch. As long as there isn't a bug load against the pto you can engage it while moving.
@antiwokeIII I should do a video about that. You can engage the pto while moving with a grain cart. Just don't open your grain gate in the cart until the pto is engaged, otherwise you will jam the auger and kill the tractor. Ask me how I know
@antiwokeIII awesome! Basics are 1st, unfold your auger pipe. 2nd, engage your pto in low rpm, which engages your auger. 3rd, slowly open your grain gate. Grain gate doesn't need opened a whole lot most of the time and your rpms don't need to be high. Just remember not to open your grain gate UNTIL AFTER you engage your pto or you will jam the auger.
