Your tutorial was such a huge help, thank you. I was really concerned that I would put the washers in the wrong way and the direction of the sink mount, is this up or down: but you made it so easy. Thank you again.
i had to reinstall my pop-up drain (replaced with better brand name one as the ebay one completely failed after a few years). i forgot how to install, this video was very helpful thanks.
This is a nice; I havebà vid, installing a glass vessel sink, IT'S Totally Different,.. Nice sink thanks for sharing *I Look forward to hear from you 👍*
We have followed the directions but the stopper piece that you can see looking into the bowl is sitting up about 1/2 " to high. And when we turn on the water it runs on the floor. This is a replacement stopper could it be the wrong kind? it says it is for vessel sinks. I bought two sets one is from the hardware store but it has the same issue. One thing I did notice is that on the old one there was no hole in the pipe portion. Both new ones have it, but one hole is below the pop up and one is above the bowl.. We have a marble sink not glass but the set up looks about the same. Any advice? Thank you
+Lauralei Clark You appear to have a drain which accommodates a sink which has an overflow drain. You need a drain without overflow. The hole you describe in the side of the drain is for a sink's overflow drain.
WHICH DRAIN DO I NEED?? Hi, I am installing a glass vessel "above counter" sink with NO overflow hole. Which type of drain do I need if I want to be able to fill the sink and hold water, but not overflow if left unattended?? I have heard of many types like: mushroom cap, umbrella, pop up, lift and turn, grid strainer, push button, with overflow, without overflow... I don't want slow drainage due to the no air from the overflow hole, WHAT TYPE DRAIN SHOULD I BUY? Thanks! Great Video BTW.
Do I need a P Trap if I am installing my vessel sink above a vessel top with a vanity cabinet underneath? We are replacing our existing vanity top and normal sink with a vessel top and vessel sink. We have purchased the mounting ring, vessel sink, faucet, and pop-up drain.
do you have a video to install the slot mount standoffs? i have a tempered glass vanity as well but not chrome parts. the whole vanity is glass and i suppose I have to use the slot mounts without screwing because it has no holes. what do you recommend?
ok you forgot to explain hand tighten the drain nut by hand only, sink can crack if wrench is used. Also my oval vessel I installed wobbles and turns how do you stop this?
I have a drain that goes right down into my floor it has the trap but the water drains down through a pipe when I put my vanity over it, every vid I see peoples water drains out the side of the wall, my bathroom the pipe is in the floor and the water leaves my sink snd drains down into the floor pipe. do I install the straight pupw first and lift my vanity over till it reaches the pupw top and slide in down so I know that the vanity is draining I t right. like is my system ancient? I don't see any vids of pipes that drain straight through the pipe in the floor... might sound confusing. I'd it was in the wall sideways my installing of my vanity be a lot easier
