This interview with the developer really increased the hype to 1000 for me. It could be a better-looking game if it comes to the other VR platform, but if they manage to make this new mechanics feel good in VR, they will revolutionize the current gameplay possible in VR games.

Same. The first game that makes me excited for a stand-alone title. AW2 and AC were not it for me. Still a shame this will never see PCVR or PSVR2. I would love this with high-rez, dynamic lighting, and haptics would take it next level.

@@A540678 I don't think it would. We’re at a point with Standalone Hardware where they can be on the Performance Level of Low-End PCVR Setups. Games are always designed for the Mainstream and Average Audience in mind. Besides Resolution I don't think it would be a Massive Upgrade. It already is on a Level where it looks great and the Difference becomes a lot less noticeable.

@@A540678 It's not coming to other hardware so no point thinking about it. The absolute best case scenario is if Meta do a PCVR version for Rift as that would be on the Meta Desktop app, which I currently use to play the PCVR version of Hubris (as it has cross buy)

Great interview. Straight to the point! I hope this game just like Asgard's Wrath 2 will suprise me with gameplay and graphics. But still a shame we never will know how it would have looked on psvr2 or pcvr. But facebook bought big vr studios years ago so it's understandable but sad facebook killed the oculus rift s store if it comes to pcvr! Billions into horizon worlds didn't also succeed. But 1.5 years of rift s games was enough to say it isn't profitable.

If they not limiting the gameplay and freedom too much and actually push vr gameplay to the new heights like being able to grab and climb anything/anywhere, swining robes in physic based, throwing bat boomerang and catch it yourself, and grab enemy and perform a wrestle, that'll be the best game ever made. Please no limiting gameplay in vr because the potential far surpassed flatscreen in billion times

Owning both a q3 and psvr2, this idea that stand alone graphics are shite is, itself, shite. Quest 3 looks great, the clarity is phenomenal and in some cases quest 3 versions look much better than psvr2. Quest aint holding anything back.

⁠⁠@@333335339try comparing games that are on both systems though. Games like Red Matter 2 show that Q3 is nothing to balk at, it’s on par with the psvr version. I just playing walkabout on psvr2 and q3 with my nephew. The q3 is waayyy better. The edge to edge, razor sharp clarity is insane. I’ve played Re8, Re4 and GT7. They’re great games. But Quest has amazing exclusives too, that look phenomenal. I’m genuinely shocked how good these games can look on a standalone.

They really aren't anymore. With Quest 3 you have enough Power to render decent Visuals. PSVR1-type Visuals at Higher resolutions or even PCVR at Los settings

I’m not even mad about the idea of it being on vr, I’m mad about it being chosen to be on quest 3 and quest 3 only when the psvr2, quite possibly has the potential to be better than pcvr and IN MY OPINION one of the most powerful headsets I’ve ever used, it doesn’t get it😂. Not to mention the games are limited at the moment

I'm not mad that this is a VR title, I'm mad that it's a Meta only title. I have an Index, and it's frustrating to spend over 1000 dollars on a headset and not be able to play this.

Its a meta quest exc. game, so dont hope for good results. 😅 If it was for PCVR it d be different better in any way . Free combat , better graphics ..

I love my Quest 3 but would deffo rather play this on my PSVR2. Fingers crossed it becomes cross platform and everyone gets a chance to enjoy it.

I think this is a stepping stone for them. If it sells really well on quest (which is the most profitable headset atm), then maybe later they can create something for psvr or pc.
