It will be. We're entering a new Cyberpunk-age where we are closer to this Genre's future vision than ever. Frankfurt am Main/Germany, Moscow, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, New York City, Dubai....those Megalopolisses are already pretty close to be like Batman Beyond's Gotham City as of today.
Big part of why I like this is because when I saw it as a kid I wasn’t familiar with this genre at all. It was new and unpredictable. Even now after revisiting it’s still a cool song.
Dana Tan: Hey, Terry. You know that squid twip Blade with? Pee-yeew! It revealed that Dana's former bestie and rival Blade doesn't have boyfriends anymore.
Brings me back memories from my childhood watching it on VHS tape, though I still don't know the name of that song anyone know? cause that song has got a good beat and tune that I would dance to at a nightclub.
Thanks for uploading this. Ever since I first saw this movie, I've really loved this piece of music. Though how did you remove the dialouge? Did you mess with the audio tracks somehow?
Pretty much. I cancelled out the center channel of the 5.1 mix (where most of the dialogue is kept), and to my surprise I got a pretty clean rip of the background music.
That's cool! I remember several years ago, I messed with the 5.1 audio of a few Warner Bros. Animated films, which I did in Sony Vegas. I found it really interesting, because I never realized they seperated audio tracks in movie releases like that,
They've been doing it for decades now. Understand though that it's not as if the music is designed to be played cleanly through certain audio channels. That's just the way it happened to be mixed for this particular sequence. Indeed, other parts of the film have dialogue and FX spread out through all 5 channels of the mix... this dance music is isolated in the fronts only because it's supposed to be drowning out pedestrian noise (conversation, etc.) in the first place.
This isn't a real "song"; Kristopher Carter composed it himself as far as I know. The track in the video has never been officially released; I just pulled it off of my Blu-ray copy of the film.
when i was younger watching this in CN I always wanted to go to raves like this no phone or nothing turns out there's a lot of drugs and sex at these raves it was fun though :)
