I've got an idea for what Batman should make a contingency plan for next. How about the Numidium from the Elder Scrolls series?

Yes, because taking a microwave bath is entirely comfortable to what DC considers 'EMPs'. To take a non comic related example, that's like saying Senator Wesker could survive a Guardian EMP from Halo, an EMP literally so powerful and wide ranging one can shut down an entire solar system populated by interstellar civilizations.

@@VunderGuy Batman doesn't have multi-galaxy level EMPs. And wouldn't use them anyway, since they'd end civilization.

@@VunderGuy The Attenuation Pulse isn't just an EMP. It also has a EW vector, meaning that even if you somehow circumvent the EMP aspect, your shit is still getting infiltrated and rewritten by Forerunner programs.

He makes a lot of good points at least. but he isn't entirely correct about everything.

@@zeehero7280 that’s what makes his ideology so dangerous. It speaks to the most base part of people, even if they don’t agree with everything they agree with some of it and that’s enough. People are always willing to compromise if they can be led to see the benefits. Some of the most evil people in history are also the most charismatic.

To be fair, I think these plans are less about defeating the subjects, and more about neutralizing them as threats.

@@spongeintheshoe For sure, but it's always cool to think/envision about how it would go in practice. Sometimes the methods done are genuinely creative genius. Some ideas don't work, but with slight tweaking suddenly become effective. It's all about stimulating the conversation or as armstrong would say: causing conflict so that the best ideas may rise to the top. That's part of the reason why it's hard to defeat him. Like batman, he is a symbol. Truthfully, armstrong could be persuaded by bats that focusing conflict into a more productive positive way would not only earn armstrong's respect, it would also 'defeat' his ideology. Since, bats would agree with the philosphy, just not the methodology & is doing him a favor by improving it with conflicting ideals.

This is actually why I love Armstrong as a character. It doesn't matter if you beat him physically. Because regardless, he wins ideologically. His entire belief system is centered around the strongest man calling the shots, so by winning, you're ultimately proving his point. You even see this in MGR, when Raiden beats him. Instead of cursing Raiden, he congratulates him, because Raiden proved that he was the stronger man, and therefore, his word was more valid than Armstrongs. I think the biggest challenge for Batman wouldn't be facing Armstrong physically, but mentally. because the topic of their worldviews would come into question, and Armstrong would undoubtedly leave marks on Bruce. After all, his entire belief is that he alone is what's keeping Gotham together. He could very well see his and Armstrongs beliefs being one in the same, and would likely cause him to do some serious self refection about whether or not what he's doing is truly what Gotham needs.

But Armstrong would eventually turn on Luthor, because he still has honor and standards.

This is how Sam almost won against Armstrong, but he underestimated how good of a fighter the Senator is, and he used his won weakness to beat Jetstream

I remembered that the nanites cannnot react to faster enemies. They can only react in normal time.

@@ghostavinci104 I don't think the Nanomachines react slowly. They probably react as fast as any cyborg, more likely theirs just a very slight delay for when the skin begin hardens. I mean we're talking about hardening ones skin to the point that it's virtually indestructible. Bound to be some resistance do to shock. Which case, that very slight delay might be all one needs to land a blow as long as Armstrong remains on the offensive, if he's on his back foot, he'll just keep certain parts like his torso hardened and beating him will be easier said then done. As long as he's attacking, he's more open tp getting attacked and thrown off balance.

It doesn't cut through them the only reason sam sliced Armstrong hand off was due to him reacting faster than Armstrong nano machines and Raiden had to exhaust Armstrong nano machines just to finish him off

@@Ibaraki_DX Well Batman would have to obtain the words BABA IS DONE to do that in the first place. The words are not just words on a paper, They represet the rules of reality itself. Even without the ALL IS DONE, Baba can cause alot of damage to the rules of reality. Baba can use the MOVE word to remove other's ability to move, Baba can use YOU to take control of other beings, Baba can use DEFEAT to kill other beings, like applying DEFEAT to WALL. Just imagine someone randomly leans on a wall, then they die. Just look at the wiki to see all the things Baba can do. Baba while by itself in simple, with the words, if becomes far more complicated, just like the game. Of course, Baba isn't evil. But on it's quest it will certainly cause damage to reality itself in the process.

@@stuffstuff3455 but if batman needs to obtain the word blocks to make statements, wouldnt baba also need them? I know the blocks from the game, there are a lot of funny statements that could be made and try to apply them to our world, like ALL IS NOT STOP would technically make everything collapse into single points, but we would need to give all word blocks to baba and not let batman interact with them

@@Ibaraki_DX The words always appear around Baba. And while Baba isn't the fastest thing in the world, it has more than enough time to rewrite rules of reality. Just look at speedruns. Also, Baba is technically immortal as the are levels that require Baba to destroy it's body to win, yet in the next level it's just fine.

@@stuffstuff3455 the win stuff is more the player (or YOU) than baba, anything that can be controlled by us will be insanely powerful if you bring speedruns up too, but seeing batman come up with a contingency for a white fluff ball is pretty funny so i would like to see it
