Batman Forever - Deleted Scene: Two-Faces' Escape (Remastered) 

Fun Fact: Joel Wanted to do a Batman Film all about Arkham. But he couldn’t so he did this and a little scene at the end with Arkham.

Cut to Batman suiting up. That would have sent chills down my spine. Would have made the opening even better.

"Hell of a night out there Doc!" A lot of people always say Batman Forever is for the crybabies but to me this deleted scene as well as the Arkham Asylum Scene in the final released version I think is far creepier than anything you would ever see in Tm Burton's Batman Returns.

You can see why it was cut out, Forever is a campy film and this doesn’t suit what happens in the next 2 hours but it is a really good beginning to my favorite Batman film

actually he turned in a dark(er) 160 min cut that got recut, & rearranged down to 2hrs...I stopped blaming him for the series mistakes. it was wall WB's fault. Same with B&R - he didn't say HEY WE'RE GONNA MAKE A PIECE OF SHIT... WB asked him to put in more vehicles so they could make toys, alter the costumes to make TOYs...he said it basically a toy commercial and they did the best they could...

This would have been better if they had done the scene before Batman suits up to go take down Harvey Dent. I always thought that they had wasted the oppertunity to make Batman 3 into a Two Face origin story instead of the whole "Two face origin story on the television"...but at least they did get it right with saying it was Carmine Falcone who threw acid onto Dents face which is exactly the same thing happened in the comics. I do believe that if Tim Burton had done Batman 3, then this character would have been Jonathan Crane instead of "Dr Burton".

Never knew about this scene, personally I think this would have been a nice addition to the film and I dont think it really goes over the top on violence and darkness like people have said.

The guard tied to the fan was played by John Glover in an uncredited role. Which was a clever casting choice as he voiced The Riddler in BTAS

I agree I think it was a decent movie not as good as batman and batman returns but still not as campy as batman and robin. I still wish that Tim Burton should have directed it but at least Christopher Noland made great Batman movies and stayed more true to the comics and can't wait for Dark Knight Rises thats gonna be great.

Guys, is it weird that I see Rene here playing a good Jeremiah Arkham; he perfectly encapsulates the sardonic orderly that looks over the criminal madhouse day to day.

Arkham asylum is more terrifying then I thought.

The only reason why the movie was still ok ish is because Tim Burton produced it and Joel Schumacher directed it. Obviously if they just left it to Tim Burton the film would of been 10/10

Yeah what I said was meant to be rhetorical, but yeah Joel Schumacher defiantly took a much brighter take on the Batman series but besides that I've always like Batman Forever I think its still a good movie and sequel.

Hell yeah Batman (1989) and Batman Returns are my favorite Batman movies ever made and Nolan defiantly had a good interpretation of the series too. I even like like the Batman 1966 film and TV series as well even tho retro and campy it didn't work so much for Batman and Robin by Joel Schumacher but Joel was also gonna a direct a fifth installment "Batman Triumphant" Starring Cloney, O' Donnel, Silverstone with Jack Nicholson rerprising his role as the Joker.

Because that would mean making the movie dark and Joel Schumacher wouldn't have that thats why I say Burton should have been on this movie instead of Joel.

Sorry to pop your bubble, but this project was abandonned many years after Batman and Robin had too many negative reviews. That's why Nolan choose to reboot the movies.

I did not like the direction Joel Schumacher took the Batman films. He went into a more PG-13 aspect rather than keeping it dark like Tim Burton did in Batman & Batman Returns. That's why Michael Keaton turn down Schumacher's offer to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in Batman Forever.

Whyyyyyyy wb. Why. I've been saying this for the longest. Wb does no know wtf to do with dc characters or movies. They got lucky with nolan. And 89 batman. But besides that I mean the past 20 years. We should've had a full blown dc universe already. And no hate on mcu. But wb should've laid down the blueprint. Damn shame. Thankfully at and t now owns wb if I'm correct. And they seem to have common sense. By first releasing the snydercut and giving fans what they want. Regardless Hopyfully we get to see more dc characters besides batman. Wb was just exploiting batman at this point with pattinson batman which we didn't even need a recast or another trilogy. Hopefully dc takes over 2021. With all the new announcements.
