Batman meets his Father 

Thomas: “Stop being Batman & be a father to your son.” Bruce: “My son is literally a trained assassin, so it’s a bit complicated.”

Bruce became the Batman because he convinced himself that that’s what his parents would want him to do but Thomas telling him to stop hits so hard especially if you remember the scene where Bruce was talking to his parents at their grave in mask of the phantasm.

1:42 “Your mother was more of the plan-ahead type.” I can’t believe Batman gets his preptime ability from his mom.

Tomas: You have a son? Bruce: Five sons, a daughter, and another child on the way.

It's also a missed chance for Bruce to see his mother as the JOKER, but I think that's probably for the best

Really wished Thomas would have went with them because I want to see Alfred's reaction.

What i like about thomas wayne vs Bruce is that Bruce does not kill to honor his parents and because he doesn’t want to become a murderer who will kill the parents of someone else. Thomas kills people because of the death of his son. Both are doing what they think will honor the dead one but what they do are the total opposite and I just think it’s a neat detail that the writers thought about.

a world without Batman is.... unacceptable. so, it is time Waller made a new one

"Come with me, father. Please." To think that someone losing their parent at an early age actually has a chance to directly tell them that. I'm torn :(

imagine the closer and happiness you'd feel from both sides.

A pity that later writers did dirty to this Thomas turning him into a villain obssesed to stop Bruce to be Batman.

Thomas' speech to Bruce when he pushed him on the treadmill was so touching I actually choked up a little when I first read it.

Thomas Wayne is the most underrated Batman character we need a movie that’s only about Thomas Wayne..what he battles in his life…who is he connected with in that timeline,how is he going to explain about what he lost mostly… we need a good movie where it all starts with thomas Wayne becoming the Batman and why he can’t resist to stop being the Batman.

I may not have read the comic, but I did see the movie. It broke my heart and the fact that they have an opportunity to meet makes me even more emotional. It would have been awesome to get this moment animated while Kevin Conroy was still alive.

There is one constant, consistent, unchanging fact about good parents: they want the very best for their children.

You see? I always knew Bruce was just too delusional in thinking his parents wanted him to become a dark knight to avenge them but he's always been WRONG about that! However how Bruce explained his story in "Batman Forever" was that he became Batman to strike fear into those who did evil and ensure that what happened to him would never happen to anyone else ever again.

Touching moment... shame it wouldn't ever be allowed to amount to anything. Bruce has already had so many other opportunities and reasons to retire, but it never sticks. It's not like it would have to be the end of "Batman", there are plenty of characters who could take up the mantal as his successor, but it will still never happen.

It always amazes me at how much media people miss out on because they don't realize that stories can be told in so many ways

I think he should of Told Alfred of his latest adventure, he'd love to hear that Thomas in a way survived

Certainly I was not the only one who read both Batmans with Conroy's voice in mind with Thomas having a somewhat deeper tone.

Well. The story of batman sort of comes full circle, but being that it's batman I'd simply hope he'll learn to trust others to help him out without having to do everything himself. Trust others more than he already does, especially his bat family. That way he's able to actually be a father to Damian but in his own way. As it's been revealed and said many times over, He see's himself as Batman, Bruce is the Mask. I'm still hoping for a comic that features Element X (the new version) Batsuit paired with a White Lantern Ring, and with this story he'll finally be able to allow himself to Love again, and get over his loss.

When Bruce decided not to quit being Batman, and instead propose to Catwoman, Thomas found out and decided to force him into quitting by working with Bane, which led to Catwoman leaving Bruce at the altar and the death of Alfred.

So curious, did you ever make a video on why the flashpoint paradox was still active and who was behind it? I'd like to see it if so, because I'm curious what the answer is.

I feel like the thomas batman would've attacked bruce and flash mistaking them for intruders also for the fact last time Thomas saw bruce was when he is a kid, so it doesn't make sense for him to instantly recognize bruce.

I see equality runs in the family

With them saying "We can save you!" and Thomas replying with "You have", I think that was the inspiration for the Flash movie in which Barry says "We can't bring you back, can we?" and Bruce replies "You already have". But in addition to Michael Keaton's Bruce Wayne in that movie, as he was stitching himself after the fight with the Russians, he had a smile on his face showing that he missed being Batman without realizing it. But imagine how he would feel if his father told him to give up being Batman and find happiness. It makes me think of "The Dark Knight Rises" when Alfred said he never wanted him to come back to Gotham and had that fantasy in Florence in which Bruce would be sitting at the café and the end of the movie makes it real, showing Bruce finally found peace. Even Alfred said he thought of how Bruce would have a couple of kids. I hope that one day Warner Bros. adapts this comic. We need to see Bruce meeting Flashpoint Thomas. We need to see him hearing from his father that he needs to give up being the Batman and finds happiness. Bruce doesn't have to let the Batman die and let someone else take the mantle, but I agree that Bruce would need to retire eventually and live the rest of his life in peace.

batman is one of the characters where the death of his parents is the most important event of his life, not only an event to make the character become a super hero/vigilante/villain/etc. Its never forgotten and when it comes in the spotlight, it shows.
