I love how this sounds like a supervillain theme. It just communicates so well how criminals must feel when they know Batman might literally be watching every single move they do
“when that light hits the sky, it’s not just a call, it’s a warning….to them, Fear is a tool. They think they can hide in the shadows but I AM the shadows.” so spot on and spine-chilling, I loved it
@@zainabbassshah3598 Batman is supposed to be a highly intelligent, highly disciplined, and highly trained warrior with near infinite access to resources. How does that Batman show that in any way? It doesn’t, he’s just an emo teenager who listens to nirvana and thinks society doesn’t understand him 💀
@@MrAwesomesolos Doesn’t apply here when you remember this Batman is only in his SECOND YEAR! He’s still working on himself, by the end of the movie, he’s become a beacon of hope, he’s absolutely got the detective skills to back it up
I actually love the music as Batman slow walks across the screen. As the music rises you feel his intensity, you know that if you’re a criminal, you’re going to have a bad day, er night. 🦇
“Thursday, October 31st. The city streets are crowded for the holiday, even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes - but I'm there, too. Watching… two years of nights have turned me into a nocturnal animal. I must choose my target carefully. It’s a big city… I can’t be everywhere... but, they don’t know where I am. We have a signal now for when I’m needed. But when that light hits the sky. It’s not just a call. It’s a warning… to them. Fear is a tool. They think I’m hiding in the shadows but, I am the shadows.”
This theme literally give you chills that something is about to happen... No matter how many times you listen to this.. Just listen this theme while driving and a simple road trip will become a thriller scene of a movie..
@@dr.sommercamp3435 I don't know, imo funeral of the queen mary is majestic and blade runner soundtrack is adrenaline and epic (i am thinking about this ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A03x9uw25kI.html&ab_channel=ElectroDreams ) maybe the theme from escape from new york is the one i like the less. But i respect your opinion 😃
They finally made a Batman movie that understands what Batman is supposed to be. He isn’t supposed to be funny or upbeat. Batman only has one thing left in him. Vengeance. He’s supposed to be a terrifying demon of the night that is surrounded in mystery and that will not stop until all crime in Gotham has been stopped. This theme shows that perfectly Edit: Holy shit guys its just an opinion you don't have to like the movie.
Batman is not real. That fact is very important. It means there is no "Batman" and thus no single truth about him. There are multiple versions and many of them contradict each other. So Batman is not "supposed to be" anything. Different peoples can like different versions and none of them is right or wrong. Because: See my first sentence. As the Batman from the very popular animated series (Batman TAS) demonstrated, when he stopped Mr Freezes plan to kill Bolye, because Bolye had doomed his wife Nora: Freeze: "Vengeance." Batman: "No. Justice". So this version is not about vengeance, but about justice. As many versions are. So please do not pretend that there is ONE Batman and that he is about vengeance. The facts do not agree.
@@usulsk I never said that there was one good batman. It's just that this movie went after how batman was portrayed in his first comics. the dark knight has a good batman too.
@@usulsk You are correct. But if you embrace the fact that batman's parents were killed and that sent him into a psychological break. If you embrace that back story, this Batman seems to capture that dark past best.
Wow, no wonder this theme was so freaking well done. Michael Giacchino, one of the first musicians I ever heard, dating back to when I was 3 years old listening to his Medal of Honor 1999 OST. Glad to know that all these years later, he's STILL producing masterpieces. \o/
“Ladies. Gentlemen. You have eaten well. You've eaten Gotham's wealth. Its spirit. Your feast is nearly over. From this moment on...none of you are safe.”
Thank you so much to have took the time to regroup all parts of the soundtrack and condensed it into what The Batman extended theme should sound like !
This Batman genuinely made me a little nervous ,and I'm no criminal !....The theme invoked the feeling of intimidation and dread inspired by the Batman absolutely perfectly ..the utter brilliance of this movie ,after the Dark Knight Trilogy ,came as a complete surprise ...a masterpiece
Actually that was the Bane/Batman “Ah you think darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding!” ;)
This theme is peak ... When you're stopped by a Sheriff - your tags might be expired. When you're stopped by a beat cop - you might have crossed the street the wrong way. When you're stopped by a Detective - he might want to ask you a few questions about a guy you saw at the Mall last week. But when HE appears ... You know exactly what you did, what you deserve ... and what you're gonna get.
I saw this movie for the 1st time, 30,000ft in the air on a 10hr flight. Believe me this movie scared the sh!t out of me with this spine chilling music.
As bad as I wanted Robert Pattisons Batman to meet Joaguin Phonenix's joker, im more than happy with "The Batman" universe as is. Hope this becomes a trilogy
2 years of nights... Have turned me into a nocturnal animal They dont know where i am... I cant be everywhere.. I must choose my targets carefully. Bit when that light hits the sky... Its not just a call..its a warning... For them That intro was Batman to the core
What I found compelling about the score was that it combined with the slow walk of Batman to turn him into a movie monster. For the most part he didn’t rush, he just implacably proceeded forward, and the relatively simple theme acted the same way as the one in Jaws. It told you the monster was close by and emphasized it’s threat as it came from the shadows and inevitably stalked towards you.
Compelling? This is the laziest score I've ever heard. Two notes and a crescendo. Did we need a paid professional to compose that? Even Halloween's score, while repetitive, has more than just 2 notes.
Seeing the searchlight, and then crooks start backing away from every shadow they see and every dark corner suddenly feels like a trap. It was a genuinely terrifying moment when it first happened. This movie, better than any other, conveys how scary Batman is as a character. Which makes him being a fighter for justice even better, because I just love a hero that genuinely scares the shit out of their villains.
pattinson is perfect for early patman. hes driven by his vengeance and hatred, and he hasnt yet learned to put on the mask of “bruce wayne, billionaire bachelor philanthropist.” hes still the hermit prince of the city - but eventually, as he comes to understand that its more about helping people than beating the snot out of villains, he will put on the mask and start rebuilding the systems of gotham, helping people as well as protecting them. they even go into this at the end of the movie - he starts to realize that gotham is what matters most, not just his unending quest for revenge. i can easily see this batman becoming the one we see in the animated series, minus all the puns, of course. but still a similar source of hope who is also the vicious bogeyman of gothams underworld.
This theme really makes Batman feel like an unstoppable force of justice and vengeance, it sends chills up your spine, knowing that while you rob, maime, and murder...he's watching. And at any moment, he'll strike.
All the other Batman themes highlight Batman as perceived by the people of Gotham a superhero, while this theme highlights how the criminals of Gotham perceive Batman the vengeance
This movie is great! Absolutely great. I'm not gonna compare to other iterations of the character. They're are all great in their own way. I love all of them. I love this one!
this theme is sooo goooood! right up there with Danny Elfman's original Batman (1989). probably a little better than Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard's TDK trilogy. As far as the movie itself goes, i thought it was pretty perfect until the 3rd act. i didn't need to see him beating up bad guys at the Mayor Elect's inauguration or Riddler flooding the city -- the flooding came from absolutely nowhere and i didn't like it. up until the 3rd act it was a very slow, methodical build up and i was glued to the screen. i also wish Matt Reeves' had kept the scene of Batman visiting the Barry Keoghan's Joker in Arkham, asking him Joker about the Riddler. if you haven't seen it -- youtube it, it's a great scene!
