Imagine how it must feel for the thugs tho. Outta no where u start choking on smoke, then five of your friends are knocked out. The smoke clears and there’s this big scary guy mean mugging u. It’s all fine tho cuz u got a gun, u aim, u shoot, and it just blows up in your face. No wonder criminals think Batman is like some demon of the night. Batman’s tech seems supernatural. Although u know the saying “any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic”.
Well yeah. Batman’s a ninja. They were all about utilizing the latest technology and whatever scraps there are for every advantage possible, which ended up leading to people basically thinking they were demons themselves. He’s doing the league of shadows proud
if " criminals think Batman is like some demon of the night." then they'd actually be smart enough to run away. penguin's guys are saying batman's overrated
@@morgan0__o that's when batman isnt in theyre presence, but when u show up they either get scared shitless or they get theyre asses handed to em. Sum times twice,, "the bat broke my arm back in arkham city"
If it wasn't for the forced batmobile missions I would would probably rank this as the best in the arkham series as it was so polished in areas like this as it really made you feel like you were batman
@MB18 Agreed. The combat was its true strength. It is a shame that there wasn’t enough of the game dedicated to it. The side missions were also underwhelming after all the build-up from before. And the boss battles, only the Riddler was worth playing. Still it’s a beautiful game.
@@derpherpula592I agree with you, the game give you more options to dispose of thugs but in giving you more options it made the combat & predator sections a lot easier, especially the multi takedown feature. That combined with the batmobile sections and the clunky storylines kinda killed it for me.
@@derpherpula592 Absolutely no way Asylum and City require more combat skill. Lmfao. Knight has more variety of enemies and ways to take them down and is more difficult.
Robber: how you going to stop us?! Batman: prep time! Robber: well shit, guess I'm committing crimes during the day then! Batman:**surprised Pikachu face**
Yeah it made me so mad at times but it felt so good completing the levels. For example the one where I had to fight 3 big armored sheild guys and like 100 dudes while getting shot up by tanks if I go close to the door way
i think hes only like 45..I might be wrong but thats around the same age as most Batman stories, hell Id say he looks older in Asylum/City but that might just be because they gave him a 5'o'clock shadow as the night went on: yet kept him clean shaven all game in Knight but tries to compensate with dirt/grime + more suit damage.
@@IamHueGraves yeahh... Origins.... the one were you have to replay the game and avoid proximity upgrade to complete some of the medals.... the one where a single bug can prevent you from retrieving a riddler trophy is a bullshit location and you have to repeatedly restart the game constantly till line launchers operates as it should.... by all means get origins plat trophy but also prepare yourself cos you will have a better time getting 3 medals on all arkham challenges batmobile and character specific with 10 extra predator points each than getting origins to plat
@@Nox_ee94 Didn't know it was that involved, I don't go for chieves. I'm a big fan of it as a basic game though. I loved the more aggressive Batman and the cinematics, story, and general tone are legitimately better than the first two IMO, and even better than Knight till late game.
@@IamHueGraves yeah as a basic game it's pretty aight tbh, it's just when you dive deep that you see that for the buggy unfixed mess it is. Orgins as an iteration of Batman is a second favourite for me, nothing can beat Arkham Knight in terms of how it feels to play Batman IMHO but i like the agressive rookie nature of origins
I always imagine that after his tank battle, his cockpit explode and you have to do a QTE to avoid Deathstroke from kicking your face. Then, the second phase starts where you chase Deathstroke around the city rooftop. Avoiding his gunshot or booby trap he sets until he stop at a scripted place where you fight him 1v1 like in Origin then at a certain threshold he jumps off the building and the hunt continue. He would land on 2 more rooftops with a random group of thugs already set a base on board. You would fight him 3 times on 3 rooftop until the final 1v1 where you have to knockdown Deathstroke completely. Starts from tearing off his helmet, a fiber underneath and then his face. Ending thw battle against one of Batman's most powerful enemy and an equal in martial art.
Deathstroke should have been the post-game final boss IMO, like John suggests. Would have wrapped up the series nicely since canonically he was the first true opponent the Arkhamverse Batman goes toe to toe with.
jesus that was epic. the cinematic movement, the blind shooting through the smoke, not knowing what they're up against, and then when the smoke clears, two guys are left and then batman just stands there while they literally explode
See I hate how people say Batman has plot armor in every situation HE IS SMART AND MAKES PLANS That is why he beats people like Darkseid by using his brain....... Oh the thugs? Child's play
@@recesebaby2153 But that's the thing. Characters like Darkseid and Spectre have no exploitable weaknesses. They're literal god or abstract level entities that have the power to destroy multiple entire universes. Batman has problems with mere humans like Joker and Bane that are barely even a threat to Gotham City, much less the country, which is only a small part of the planet, which is only a tiny piece of the universe. There's levels to this shit.
@@MistaWordz Of course there's levels but when he went up against Darkseid he threatened his entire ship to blow up and was going to do it If they don't have weakpoints outsmart em
Honestly you did this extremely well man. For people who’s played the game probably know what would happen with those weapons at the end but for people like me who hasn’t played nor seen this game before, that was truly incredible what you did and made the beginning make much more sense to what you were doing with their weapons. Great job man 👍🏾
I'm not as familiar with the tech so after you knocked out the first 5 I was thinking, "ah bugger it's not all strung together, it could've been so perfect" then the guns blew up... much perfection
“I have the power to blow up the planet in my fingertips Batman... it’s over.” Batman: well, gadget that I made 20 years ago... it’s your time to shine
It's funny because if you add this with the Batmobile and the freeze blast grenade thingy you can pretty do it faster and I've also noticed that in any Arkham Knight video on RU-vid no one uses the suit you get in game they mostly have suits from downloadable content
