@Ronald Pinkerton The Eruseans used Belkan technology to kill Harling, saying that is like saying the Russians killed people whenever I use an AK-47 to shoot people.
@@oliversong6915 If the Russians gave you that AK as military aid with the intention of making you kill someone then yes, the Russians killed people through you. Which is basically what happened with the Belkans in 7, giving Erusea drone technology so they'd start a war.
@@Mattoropael Its not even certain if the Government of Belka even did that or if if was Dr Schroeders own initative. In addition even if it was the government of Belka that provided the drones, it was Erusea who made the call to use the weapons, Belka is only complicit in providing the tools, not the deaths. It'd be like saying America or Britain bears all the responsibility for every bomb the Saudis drop in Yemen.
@@Mattoropael I don't think weapons and military tech trade means war by the country that sells it. It was Erusea who pulled the trigger. I don't think when America and Russia sell weapons to other countries, they expect or asks them to go to with each other. They are simply selling the hardware to the country and that's it. It's on the other country to decide how to use that tech. For defense or just to straight-up invade someone.

Requesting air support.” “AWACS Ghost Eyes here. Garuda Team, you know what to do. Provide air support for the naval assault. Warwolf Squadron, we need you to cover Garuda Team.” “Warwolf Leader, orders received and understood.” “Alright Talisman. Just like we always do. This time, we’re dancing with other legends. Hey, Warwolf Squadron, you think you can keep up with our pace?” “Rest assured Shamrock, we have also earned our wings.” “This is AWACS Long Caster here. We’re detecting large numbers of UAVS in the area. Strider Squadron coming in to support along with Scarface Squadron and Razgriz Squadron.” “Mobius I, Galm Team, Garuda Team, Warwolf Squadron, Scarface Squadron, Razgriz Squadron. We’re flying with legends here.” “That indeed Count. Trigger, I hope your aircraft is well fed. That goes for all of you as well. We have a lot of competition on our hands.” “Come on Three Strikes. Show these legends what you’re made of.” “AWACS Eagle Eye reading! Antares Squadron, Cyclopes Squadron, Warlock Battalion and Steel Gunners are in need of air support. Garuda Team is currently supporting the naval assault, so that leaves the assignment to you.” “Spare Squadron, listen up!! This is Bandog. You’re here to atone for your crimes. You can start that off by covering our allies’ assault by eliminating all SAMs and AA guns in the area. If you can’t do that, just fly around and be a target. Oh, one more thing. @@Lulu-ex7fc 5 months later but... They're just quoting a line from AC04's Siege of Farbanti - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3lTrgMLzJmQ.html 5:25 minute mark you hear someone say it.
This mission is easily one of the best in the game. It's all out war in land, sea and air, and you constantly hear warfare chatter in the background. "Enemy on my six! Fox Two! Requesting imediate support over here!" the music lives to the moment, and by the end, you even get to fight Mihaly and have a war plot-twist on the very end of the mission.
Easily one of the best levels of the game. I love how not only they are able to make you feel like you are part of a larger battle but also that you feel like you are a critical component of this battle. I especially enjoy hearing the Erusian forces freak out when they see the three strike on you tail and realize that the Snowbirds of Snider's Top have arrived.
I love the variety that the mission gives you. Air, land and water. its the perfect combo for an Ace Combat mission. And the fact that they all call for support as well as their repeated rallying on you really brings the mood back from the Liberation of Gracemeria from AC6.
First did this in a Typhoon with 8AGMs equipped. Just showing up to the ground battle in the north and firing that weapon once gets the Erusians damning your presence, it's amazing.
"Lately, as your company commander, I noticed a couple'a you young bucks coming for my championship belt. So I think I'm gonna go out there and run up the score a little...just to show you guys...how it's done"
Yeah, except the Erusea accepted the terms of surrender at 12:00 PM, and the fight was at around 6:00. So technically the battle was unofficial, dammit ISAF, you couldn't even get word out to your soldiers that the war had ended? (I'm aware it's a typo, and it wasn't supposed to be a post war battle, don't get your panties in a wad.)
I think the only thing I wished out of this game would be how the battle impacts the people of the city. It would be cool if there were civilian broadcasts like in Fire of Liberation.
Agreed, neutral dialogue is a nice touch and was very well done in AC6. While the military talk makes sense and is great, having chatter from people who have no way of influencing the battle have to deal with it, or due to certain events breaking out on the ground due to player intervention would be great. Reports of civilian rioting, evacuations, propaganda messages etc would add even more and allow players to immerse themselves in the battles taking place. Perhaps they’ll bring it back in a sequel if they make one, which they better do lol
This is one of the missions where listening to this triumphant theme, while flying over the ruins of Farbanti, brought a tear to my eye. The powerful music, the memories of AC04, tearing apart the Erusian resistance, flying with your trusted comrades. Just so many emotions going through my head. Had to aim my gun runs on tanks and SAMs through tears.
@@gabrieltoran2640 yeah, to be honest, I didn't feel too good about it going into Farbanti ISAF had more of a purpose, and Osea was just taking it further and further about 15 years later.
Oh no, it’s three strikes! We need to fall back! Three strikes is here? Command we need immediate air support! We need Mr. X here, now! We’re being annihilated!
Uhm ISAF attacked Farbanti during the first Continental War on september 19 2004, Usea attack Farbanti on september 19 2019 during the Lighthouse War/ Second Continental War. So you can go with 15 years ago. Edit ISAF attacked Farbanti back in 2005 so I was wrong AC:04 does have it's first mission at september 19 2004 Operation Umbrella will say
Trigger: Ok. That's farbanti. The end Is near. Wiseman: Damn right. It's the end Bandog: Hey guys Trigger: Bandog, how long has it been? Bandog: a while. Ok spare start helping strider and cyclops. Spare 3: you' re trigger right? Trigger: Yup. Count: it's been a while bandog. Bandog: yeah count. Trigger: cut the crap, there's a war to end. Bandog: he's right, spare squadron trigger, wiseman and their guys are helping the allies. Atone for your crimes by clearing their way. Long caster and bandog: ENGAGÉ
I love the mission. I love the soundtrack. Directly after entering the mission the buildup of the soundtrack already lets you know that this is going to be a big, epic, decisive battle. And during the mission itself the dialogue in the background keeps reminding you of the scale of the battle and how many are involved.
Very good observation. I think it has that and the "New Emblem" from Ace Combat 5 The Unsung War. I think it fits The Battle For Farbanti perfectly. Fly Aces Fly.
This is because its Trigger's Story now, the original Farbanti track was laden with Stardust, which is pretty much Mobius 1's theme, it wouldn't fit for this game.
"Strider 1, Fox 2!" "Shaking off Enemy lock" "Look at what our forces has left to, Damn that three strikes!" "Fox 2, Fox 2!" "Friendly Down!" "Missile! Breaking!" "Gram 7, locked on target." "Target in gun range!"
I had an issue beating this level. It ended up being that I just wasn't using the right plane. I guess a suped up F-14 just doesn't have the air to ground capabilities for this. I was so stubborn (and poor) that I couldn't come around to trying another plane. As soon as I switched to the F-35 with the AGMs, I beat it.
This mission needs more minutes in it. So does Fleet Destruction. There just isn't enough time. And for a player like me who destroys all ground targets first, there isn't enough air to air. And certain ground enemies appear at like 3 minutes left. It's really annoying.
I thought Fleet Destruction was terribly unfair until I found out I could destroy the cores of the platforms, which I did with the F-15C Pulse lasers. Once you do that than it's just shooting down enemy aircraft and destroying the remaing boats
@@TacticalBaguette I'm aware of that, but I don't typically bring the pulse lasers, so destroying cores can be quite annoying. It still takes way too long. Not to mention the countless enemy planes firing missiles.
I scored 44,000 points with the X-02, also score 35,000 points with the F-14 without reloading in Fleet Destruction. I don't know the score for Farbanti, but it was one hell of a battle!
Try the Gripen with Cruise Missiles:They're basically FAEB's on a stick. I love that little demon of a plane, every special weapon has a use. Snazzy Ace scheme too
@@thelastmelon6875 I did, flying through the tunnel which if it doesn't have a fly through tunnel it's not an Ace Combat and those things on the wall like the generators and then flying out of the space elevator was perfect great ending like the ending cutscenes of AC4 damn I feel old as hell now.
@@TheGreatAcePilot you mean the shitty remix of Stonehenge? I'm glad Keiki didn't touch Farbanti, if THAT was the best he could come up with, it's weird though, since Tango Line is alright, and Blockade is awesome.
