The one thing so many people seem to miss is the main focus is the offline with bots for this version. Which is great. How many handheld shooters with bots and endless replayability, instead of just a standard campaign, are there?
9:49 I feel as though I have contributed in some small way. And for me personally, I think Popcap/EA have redeemed themselves with this port. Even Wolfy is playing the game without raging every 5 minutes.
I feel like they didn't even try to revive the game they didn't even add crossplay and they are basically punishing the people who got the game early by making everything easy to get if you were on switch. I just feel like they wanted to milk the most amount of money they could out of it. If they had all of these from the start, the game would have been more successful. I feel like EA is just gonna ruin another series and put another studio in the dust which makes me sad because I really loved the pvz franchise.
Well honestly the goal was kinda a small player base for switch version. Not to mention that this is technically a EA and Nintendo team-up which if EA decided to give all them their very bad quality games “sry bfn I love you a lot but it’s true” then this may make Nintendo reconsider their partner ship since they want it to sell well that’s why they approved their features Nintendo wants that money as well.
I feel like they just wanted to just squeeze alittle more money out of it, I appreciate the fact that they actually removed microtransactions, so far I'm having a good time so far because I wasnt able to get it for xbox so I was stuck with GW and GW2 until now. Also they didn't have cross-platform for any of the GW games.
@@bigspartan859 well I think it’s kinda good they didn’t add crossplay cause one hackers they could of made the game more dead while they do have some sort of form to defend against hackers some of them learned how to bypass that. The only good crossplay route is and option to turn it on or off but switch will not get crossplay “seeing how quite diffrent it is”
Yeah there certainly feels like there were some shady decisions going on - but at least for now more people seem to be enjoying BfN more than ever before 😊
I'm glad they released this as it shows they still care for pvz and are willing to try new things with it. And as a whole the switch version looks sooooo good 😍

Dont get too excited, this was just a last cashgrab at pvz, there is nothing left now. Pvz 3 is in the dumpster. Gw3 is not happening, and pvz 3d isn't even a pvz game
It looks great, but the one thing I would hate if I had it is that at launch, we had battle arena, team vanquish and mixed mode, but now in Nintendo switch they are only on private play or weekly events
Well BA was made weekly cause people complained about it, they had to remove mixed mode since no one played it, and team vanquish for switch was cause the plans weren’t for a high player base
The weekly mode should be daily with smaller rewards for each mode so that we get to play everything, also why is rando ops in rotation the did so much subtle yet incredible changes to bfn yet they couldn’t remove rando ops
@@Otterlier cause it’s much easier to put out their why do you think half of the portal events in Gw2 have speed boost on them cause their not creative enough. Not to forget these are possibly on some rotation thing I wouldn’t be surpised if 8v8 turf happens that switch will have team vanquish
I gave BFN a second chance after not being able to play the foubders audition and I'm proud to say that this is far better than what Xbox, pc, and Playstation are putting out. More people are playing online when I go play online because none of them are bots and no microtransactions of any kind and all the prize maps are available at any time but my only issues are that the game is super grind heavy but other than that BFN switch has earned my manny review of... 5/6 stars total ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hey red you should play world of goo its a 2008 game its still a masterpiece till this day. A game only a few thousand people still remember! Including me. So thinking of playing it or making a livestream of it in the future
@@RedheadGaming It is, and until I found this video I couldnt find it being said absolutely anywhere :( I can understand if they reduced it to two players, but flat out removing the multiplayer functionality really did hit hard
The motion controls in Splatoon 2 are amazing But in this game (hard to explain in text but) is you cant spin the controller left and right AND also roll it for the camera to move left and right (
This might not get its own video but im gonna mention this So EA made an application called EA Desktop, k? And when i look at the PvZ: GotY selection in my library, it had BfN models but the game is play like normal. Maybe EA and Popcap are working on something? Maybe art style change?

My only issue with the visuals is trying to find the 1st diamond gnome (the one where you walk on the lake) you can't see the bottom, and as someone who has a switch lite, it's only in handheld mode. This makes finishing the puzzle near impossible. If you have any tips please let me know.
I would have to say BFN is a good game in my mind even though many people don’t like it. I play on the switch and I’m fine with BFN it’s a fine game in my opinion.
I played all of them, and yeah Garden Warfare 2 is the best one... But as I don't have a pc for now, playing this game on switch is really cool, I just hope they would add content in the game
the aiming is much easier for me personally on the switch compared to the ps version. i feel like me vanquishing/being vanquished is much more balanced and fair in a way. on the ps4 its just so buggy and weird. i can make a hit but it wouldnt register as a hit and its frustrating, especially when against a super brainz. Or I would still get one hit despite being behind a wall. I also think they should increase the amount of gold you win per match. Cause idk about anyone else but in ops I get 6-12k and turf around 12k and rarely 18k.....
Fair doos, I haven't noticed too much of a difference but I get what you mean with it feeling more balanced 😊 Yeah that's a good point but there's other ways initially you can earn coins faster 😁
Playing with bots isn’t that bad 🤷🏻♂️ you can control how good they are. I have no issue with it. It’s a really really fun game. You shouldn’t be discouraged by this ‼️
They should make a complete edition update to all versions of the game so that some don’t feel left out, also I watched wolfy enjoy it so I gave the switch version a try and it does feel kinda weird considering I’m used to my Xbox controller, but me and my little bro can finally play bfn without the stupid split screen lag so basically it’s good
Their not going to cause it’s switch exclusive think of it this way if EA was to screw Nintendo over by giving them a broken game this would hurt their business and waste Nintendo’s time might rethink their partnership if that was the case. Remember this is a Nintendo and EA partner ship not just EA

Depends if you're playing in docked or handheld and how big your TV/Monitor is I guess 😅 Unless the Switch is faulty I don't think there's anything you can do I'm afraid :/

I may have all the prize maps rewards but your telling me that for me to get anything from rux i have to use real money whilst switch users technically get it for free. I believe they should update console to get this as well
To be honest. As a GW2 and BfN player on PS4 for both of them. The switch version for BfN is a great addition to the PvZ shooters and FINALLY. no more paid microtransactions. (Sadly only on switch) Well. Gotta test the switch version when i finished downloading it 🥶
to me this is unfair that console and Pc players have to wait for a re-run for a battle pass they want to finish. i had 1 more level to get to but it was 20 bulbs. right when i finished grinding it was gone. (It was the second battle pass in the game)
Yes you need Nintendo switch Online but they made it in a weird way where if you don't have online it will still put you in a online private server and block the public server and gamemodes with a Nintendo Online message but if you spam the a button you can select the turf takeover gamemode on the portal and play online without a Nintendo Online subscription it's pretty cool
Pros: Its a *decent* PVZ shooter game on the console that has a bunch of cool characters to play as againts friends or foes Cons: You cant play the fun part of the game without an expensive monthly subscription from the Switch even tho it isn't a console exclusive
Both games are kinda old one being 7 and the other Ben 5 years old they wouldn’t have any points to either games old and they proably wouldnt go back to advertise old stuff. Not to mention that Gw1 and gw2s concepts are already perfect in their own way
You need to be able to bring up the keyboard for that right? Can’t do that on switch anyway so I can assure you it wasn’t for that reason, if anything multiplayer prolly caused performance issues with pve maps
I can safely say this is a bit of a cash grab. Its not too bad but at the same time they couldve do that when the game launched or now as an update (for other platforms)
This could of resulted from Gw2 I mean people would spend and buy a lot of coins with real money in order to get them and concept wasn’t handled correctly with rux in bfn

@@lethimcookbro746 cause they don’t they can’t make good work out of game criticized and hated to much on other consoles they need big player base if they intend to do so. It’s also something is you can’t support a family on empty promises and those promises can only be fulled by money cause that’s how the world runs
