Funny how I had just been revisiting older BN Academy videos yesterday, and saw a comment asking for the meteor series of chips to be covered while idly scrolling through the comments section. Then this video came out today. I’m sure whoever it was who asked that is very grateful. Also, yeah, I didn’t really understand how whole meteor and shot meteor worked. Thanks for the video
...Is that how ShotMeteor really works? Weird. That chip was always super awkward and gimmicky... Way it sounds from the description, it just seems like a worse WholeMeteor. If you're gonna arealock your opponent then really WholeMeteor is just... Better since it fires more meteors overall.
Yo hold up, ShotMeteor absolutely has more going on with it. Yeah it does as advertised... Initially. But the meteors are really weird, they kind of seem to veer towards enemies in your row? But once they do that they sort of just. Stop falling normally. Like I see meteors randomly fall to the back panel of whatever row you're standing on. It's so weird. What is this chip? Holy Jesus. I'm gonna do more experiments with this janky chip. Edit: it's telling after doing all sorts of experiments trying to get the chip to consistently do other things that I still have zero idea how it works. It's either extremely glitchy or extremely unintuitive. Considering BN3 it could be either. But there's definitely more going on with the chip than "fires down one column".
It's far too easy to destroy the wand object, so I never liked this kinds of chips. But it's interesting that they do have different patterns depending on the version.
It's funny to me that the easiest one to get is the only one actively targeting the enemy and, to a point, trying to juke them should they move to those adjacent panels.
If you're not with 2 area grabs on the field, this staff will be destroyed quickly, if you could place it 2 pannels ahead of you, this chip would be stronger
