We continue to try and replace our gasoline tools with electric after installing solar. The Greenworks CZ60R might be worth the price if you have a large territory to mow. @The Electric Homestead
Hi Charlie, A GREAT deal at 10G, since the new improved model comes in around 24G. Check on the charger....the original one that came with mine was 240v with a 110 "adapter" cord to change it to 110. The cooling fan did not work at all. I went and wired a special low amperage 240v circuit, thinking the fan might then work, but it still did not. The dealer exchanged my charger for another one that looked identical but had internal wiring for 110v. The fan and unit works fine. I only have two complaints about the mover: 1) seat could be a little more shock-resistant for my old eyeballs and body; the weight is a little back heavy for our hills. Solved that problem with a toolbox inserted int the front hitch. The battery is for real, lots of mowing time.
@@kennyplay5982 I haven’t seen them on sale since last fall bud. I was able to get mine for $11,000 out the door in Richmond, VA, but now they’re back to $18,999.
I'll try to put together a followup video in a few weeks. I really like this mower....but I am still trying to figure out how to make the ride more shock-absorbent. The Toro Z-Master 3000 is superb in that regard. Someone said they let some of the air out of the tires in the CZ-60R and that it helps somewhat....I just did that that. Also I ordered a memory foam cushion. A Track Seat" unit might help, they cost about $180. Otherwise, I really like this mower. It is a workhorse. Best review I've read is on Lawnsite --- title is Greenworks CZ60R Residential Use - I bought one and here are my thoughts. Read that and it might help you decide!
