Fabian seems like a character who acts badass but actually isn’t, but he’s consistently actually badass.

When Gorgug got a nat 20 on perception, I thought brennan was gonna go "You see that he is not, in fact, your dad."

I like how Daybreak gave Fabian detention over attempted bribery when he was part of an apocalypse cult

I love how Fabian has such an issue with figs super nice dad but not his literal deadly evil Demon bike that he stole from a soulless force of evil.

I have a friend that speaks exactly like Fabian. Not in English, but the inflections, tones and the pure panache are the exact same. They have the same sarcasm too. Dude's a fucking delight to be around

what happened to daybreak is an example of how sometimes, having a lot of health/ being able to heal yourself just means your death is going to be extra gruesome. his henchmen got stabbed and died, meanwhile daybreak died naked, spit on, covered in his own shit, dick stabbed off, dragged by a motorcycle, covered in sword and ax wounds, and was only put out of his misery when a 14-year-old shot him in the head. horror movies showing just _one_ of those things top "most disturbing movies ever" lists

Can we just acknowledge that Gorgug is UNSTOPPABLE in combat? This guy is all timid and quiet and honestly kinda dopey, and then he just snaps… people… in half…

Brennan is such a good DM. He's so willing and excited to let the players do whatever crazy shenanigans that they want to do.

After listening to all of Not Another D&D Podcast, I love being able to watch Murph play. You can tell he is constantly thinking like a DM and worrying about Brennan pulling some wild shit (in the way he always does himself in NADDPod), and it is hilarious.

I can't believe how close we were to not having Ragh continue to be a character. Brennan was fully committed to letting him die there if the players didn't manage to revivify him. Seeing how important and amazing Ragh becomes, thats some commendable dming on Brennan's part, damn.

The look of (sadness?) that Brennan has at 1:03:50 when he knows that his owl bear is going to get destroyed is very relatable.

I LOVE that they did a 180 of showing up at kristen applebees house, having a little "prayer circle" and talking about doing a bake sale fundraiser, to making the coach violently shit all over the football field with Fig wearing a harvestman mask

Gorgug is actually a total bEAST in battle and I live for that

I love how Adaine has anxiety to the point of panic attacks but is so spiteful and blunt that she bullies the already intimidated kid who just came back to life into voting for her friends as prom king and queen despite it having nothing to do with the goals of the campaign. If that’s not goals then idk what hell is.

This campaign has all of my favorite fan fiction tropes I swear. You’ve got some angst, found family, character realizing their family is trash, Crisis of faith, it’s just awesome

I love that Gorgug is such a soft-spoken, precious kid and yet the moment he's in battle he becomes the Tazmanian Devil and melts through dudes like a hot knife through butter. Bloodsoaked babygirl barbarian.

In one attack turn Gorgug straight up anihalated Raug with 64 damage. Then proceeds to decimate an Owlbear with one attack turn worth 40 damage.

My Sol! This make three teachers and a biker club this high school students straight up murdered!

Love how in previous episodes Brennan was trying to encourage the group to have a plan and know what they are doing going into battles (a.k.a Bill Seacaster's day camp) Now we're killing everything in sight, bullying bullies, whatever is going on with fig and every other male twice her age and gorgug becoming a murder machine in battle. And once the dust and blood settles then we can ask the important questions like "why did we kill everything and what are we doing here?" 😂😂😂 Looking forward to ploughing through all the episodes on dropout

The amount of times they say “rad” or “dope” is frankly hilarious. I absolutely love this series.

Fabian taking a literal "victory lap" after they finished the owlbear shows pretty much how this group has grown incredibly well trough their close success and many failures.
