Battle of the P320 modules. AXG vs. M1811 

I 3D printed a new grip backplate for my AXG so now it, and the 1811 grip I have, has about the same footprint. In fact I modified the stl to be just the right thickness to pull my dot into vision every time. I switched back to my axg for the time. I will do some tests at the range to see how I like the two

Brouwer is coming out with a metal M1811 frame. That review will be more of an apples to apples comparison.

Why have "P320's are adult Legos" as a theme if you are going to immediately say one gun has a better trigger than the other. I feel like it's a miss not to swap the FCU's.

I like them both. Picked up my AXG last week. Smooth shooter with slim amount of recoil. Gets on target quickly. Can't go wrong with either one really. Preference is the only difference.

I just ordered the AXG grip as i've been eyeing it for a while and I found a good black friday sale. I may get an M1811 as well and see that i like better and either sell the other or just build another 320.

Using grease and shooting the guns will help wear-in the trigger nicely. My factory XTEN trigger with nearly 7k rds fired is phenomenal! Day and night different than my NIB XTEN!

Axg because metal frames are bad ass in a striker gun

Would love to see a full size module from Brouwer. I prefer my grip module to sit flush with the end of my comp...just a personal preference. Nice review man, great watch

The comparison is 100% opinion driven. I run or have ran every sig p320 frame variant on the market currently. To the tune of a case of 9mm every 2-4 weeks. USPSA, Steel, and a wealth of training.. I have an x compact setup on a Brouwer frame with a Herrington comp and Romeo 1 pro. The best 320 comp currently available in my opinion.. This pistol is super lightweight and FAST! I like the way it’s balanced vs the heavier sig tungsten infused and AXG frames. I’m willing to bet most saying they want a heavier gun cannot transition with it.. I own a Spectre comp that recently had the compensator break out on the top forward section of the comp. Sig wouldn’t sell me a new one which is bs and only adds to the reasons why I won’t give sig anymore of my money. I run these is Alien Gear RF Duty holsters (bottom cut out a bit to fit 5” length slides)

How do you like the Mischief P320 Commander? It’s an aluminum 1911 angle that weighs a bit more than the AXG. Also has proprietary removable grips.

Love my AXG. A p320 with it is the superior wonder 9 of the 2020's.

Can I ask what spring weight you are using on the P320 with Brouwer grip and comp?

Both are great it´s just a taste thing.. for me is the AXG better

maybe its my long neck but I dont get the bore height issue on the axg pro, and have with glocks in the past. the sight picture feels natural for me

I haven't tried AXG yet, but it didn't take me long to ditch Icarus grip and go back to wilson. I just see no real benefit in adding extra weight.

After trying the AXG, TXG and wilson Grip I came to the conclusion that the Icarus Socom Grip Module is still the best option out there for your P320 :D you should try that one !

What would you say is a better buy, spectre comp or the tradigrade ?

I keep watching this to remember if I should do the m1811 and it keeps reminding me why I love the OEM grip angles more. I see the red dot faster with the oem over the steeper angled guns like Glocks because of not having to overtorque my wrist to drive the muzzle down to find the dot. I fear I’d be doing some of that with the m1811.

What holster are you using and did you have to modify it?

I'm pretty set on the m1811, but not sure if I should spring for the extra laser texture on the grip.

Doesn’t polymer80 have the same grip angle as the 1811?

Brouwer is just over the top price wise. Doesnt make sense even though I dig it. WC is probably the best option for cost and performance.

Im honestly not impressed with the legion 320 triggers. Its just more marketing bs. I have an old model x5 back when they had numerous colors available and had the pure poly frames. All of those x5’s came with a slightly cleaner trigger than the normal 320. When i compare the legion trigger to whats in my x5, its identical.

I really want to give the brouwer a try, but there is no justifying the cost on this. They need to scale production and get costs down. There is no comparing a polymer frame to a steel/aluminum frame. Starting price on the base brouwer (bare bone) is $90. $200+ for the laser etched model. It's another $48 add-on for a mag release button and manual safety cut. The Wilson combat grip module is $67. Thats $22 cheaper and includes a mag release button and manual safety cut free of charge. You load up the brouwer with all the bells & whistles and it's $300+. That's AXG territory.
