BATTLE TIME (OFF the game) 

Man, even if I don't personally think the Batter is straight-up evil, I get an amazing amount of satisfaction watching this monster in frienzy.

I can't believe this game is about a father committing atrocities in order to lower the electricity bill by turning off the lights (it's canon, trust me)

I gotta say I love the way the addons were used in the fight, like Omega turning into a camera lens for the photo attack, or Alpha literally turning into a set of brackets

This is pretty much exactly the art style I'd imagine for an animated series based on OFF. Great work!

I love how the Batter keeps his typically stoic expression throughout most of the animation but breaks at 2:20 with that grin of twisted ecstasy. It’s so jarring both because of the context and the character who it comes from. Divine animation, perfectly captures everything about OFF

Wow, Jesus, I never really thought about it, but seeing the Batter and the Queen physically hurting each other really emphasizes just how... uncomfortable their battle is in light of their relationship. Awesome work. I really like your style and how abstract you made all the different attacks. Keep it up!

I like the allegory for a father having to fight everything and everyone so that he can put his terminally ill child out of their misery. Wether or not you think putting down people when they’re reaching a point where the pain is too much to live through, is okay, its a grey zone, and the batter is either a monster or a savior depending on your opinion. I don’t think the batter is evil, i just think he’s tired of seeing his kid in pain. … But theres other theories about the story of the game too- one could easily make an arguement for an abusive household.

I adore that you actually took the moves each character used, and envisioned them in such an epic way. It really transformed what many feel to be a very easy boss, into dire brutal conflict it was always meant to be. That was the cherry on an absolutely delicious cake. For some reason there's something so powerful in the way the music speeds up when they're not even fighting anymore, the Batter is just calmly finishing the job while revealing more of his "terrifying ducky" form

this is really well made and incredibly underrated. i think this is one of the few animations that really captured the vibe of OFF

God imagine a remaster of OFF in this style. Literally one of the COOLEST things I've ever witnessed. The battle between the Queen & Batter is one of my top fights in gaming, and this was so brilliantly realized. 10/10 peak content

This is absolutely incredible. The choreography, the creativity on how each move would look based purely on description from the game.. the only two things that stray from the games I can think of are (though you have creative freedom) : -The queen not doing her bonechilling lines -The batter not being stoic and serious all the way through But your interpretations don't stray so far on those two points that it disturbs me. It's still great stuff.

I adore your visionnfor Batter, he looks exhausted and very done with all of this, all the way until hes GRINNING about to launch that Ult. homerun. The little bits of the mean ducky coming through are also exquisite

Honestly after watching this animation and Tan Bloque’s ( hope im getting their name right ) animations of OFF it encouraged me to actually start looking into the game hoping I can find a way to actually play the game to experience the actual story :DD Baller animation by the way this goes so hard x33

It's cool that you modeled most of the moves after actual in-game attacks; seeing all of the attack names in the description really gave me a better appreciation for this animation.

I wish Off would be as popular as Undertale, i mean it is a great game too, it's just sad so many miss this masterpiece

Holy shit.... this is now my favorite OFF animation and one of my favorite animation fights ever!!! I'm mind blown how trippy this is and how perfectly it expresses how it feels to fight the queen and find out what a monster the batter truly is or at least how horrible he acts... now excuse me I will watch this 50 times and send it all my friends to show them how OFF feels like because they will never play it! I knew when I saw the Fear and Hunger one I had to check for OFF. I LOVE this. It doesn't really have the same atmosphere but I'd love to see a Katana Zero animation with your style

Woah! I love the shaky movement of everything, it reminds me so much of the way the Batter and Add-Ons kinda jitter around in the game! Also, I dunno if this was intentional, but I love how the Batter's hat at 2:50 makes him look more like the long-beaked monster he's revealed to be at the end of the game (as Sugar describes him: "the terrifying ducky"). Also, I noticed there only seems to be castle and queen chess pieces...the queen seems obvious, being the Queen, but I wonder if the castle is supposed to represent the Batter? The Batter even makes his killing shot after jumping from the top of a castle piece (when earlier he fell off a queen piece)...I would say it does suit his personality; the castle is arguably the second-most powerful piece behind the Queen, and having straight forward and headstrong movement matches the Batter's stubborn no-nonsense attitude. Quite lethal if used effectively to pin the King (ESPECIALLY if there are little to no "pieces on the board", or NPCs left alive at the end of the game). I suppose the best piece to combat a rook would be the Queen, and if she's gone...then the castle could easily get to the King (Hugo). Again, dunno if it was intentional, but it's a cool thought nonetheless!

So very hard to make art for off and make it feel like it's part of the game; the style, the vibes and even the raw emotions from the game that stick with you for a very long time, I have seen very few capture so masterfully. This animation is incredibile, I find myself coming back to it frequently and every single time I am left shaken and amazed. Hard to describe with words. Superb!

I was putting off watching this because of the uneasiness of the audio, i kept on thinking “oh this sounds super unnerving, i dont wanna get into that today” i was NOT expecting that to evolve into an epic battle theme(despite the title) oh my god. This is an amazing animation and is my favorite depiction of OFF’s final boss.
