If you're like me, and came from a background playing mainly Warzone, or if you find flying helis very cumbersome then this video should help you acclimate to the helicopter controls on Battlefield 2042.
Thank you for your help mate, I have been struggling SO much with the helicopters. I'd like to improve without making an arse of myself in public matches, this helped so much!
Dude ! Been getting use to these new controlles ever since i saw them .. yestersday i did what i never could - total dominstion of airspace, and reaking havoc on infantry. Both in super hind with my team, and me and another in one of the new choppers ! Thanks a bunch !
That’s so awesome to hear!! Thanks so much for the update and I’m really glad the control scheme has helped you out! I bet you were like Maverick from Top Gun…except with helis 😂
@@NightVizion_ i just had to return with a comment on it, - really beneficial scheme - really easy learning curb - much more intuitive - much more responsive ! You really hit the nail on this one !
@@MickaelEwald Thanks!!! That means so much! Trust me, as a heli-main in BF games, something just didn't feel right, right off the bat when I flew them, so I knew I had to mess around with the settings right away! I'm genuinely happy that it has benefited you and so many others! Keep up the air superiority!!!
@@NightVizion_ before this scheme you set up, I wouldn't dare touch a heli at all. I simply couldn't get the hang of it. I really hope you'll continue with making bf2042 content 🙏 but I do enjoy seeing some of your fortnite vids though 😃 keep up the good work 👏 🙌 👍
I wish I could find a video where someone would actually explain how to fly instead of just the controls and then yeah! You go forward and turn the helicopter!
@@NightVizion_ 💯 I've tried a lot of things trying to fly, but really didn't like it soo just been playing infantry and gunners .. took like 2 tries then I got it with your setup! Thanks man !
god damn that's helpful, first time I tried heli, I just dipped the nose down and crash, never tried since, and it has now been almost 2 years... I think I'm gonna try again
Exactly the same for me. Occasionally I’ll have a go in co-op cos I don’t wanna embarrass myself publicly but every time I try it ends in tears so I gave up 😕😝… will try this set up tonight, cheers for the tips… best vid yet for us controller players. Please do more 👌🏼👌🏼.. you’ve earned a sub from me too 👌🏼
I flew the jet with the default settings, and the helicopter in legacy southpaw. I found out that I could fly just as good in default settings for the helicopter because I put the F35 in hover mode and flew it like a helicopter....😐🤣👌
I am super curious how your PS4 controller works on PC , mine does not and the only way I got it to works was through stream enabling PS4 support & only registers as an xbox controller :(
Hello, thanks for watching the video! If you are on Windows 10, the easiest way to do this, is by first making sure your PS4 Controller is off. Plug in the controller with a USB cord. The controller's light should now light up orange (as if it were charging). You should then see a prompt on the bottom right of your Windows display pop-up and read "Setting up "Wireless Controller"." After that, your controller should be set up and ready to use! If for some reason it doesn't set up, then try resetting your PS4 Controller on the back using a toothpick or something similar and try again. Hope this helps!
Hello! If you are using the Air-to-Air Missile which is the default equipped on the Apache, then you have to be at least 300 meters within range of the other aircraft. Then you will see a yellow "Lock-on" square/rhombus closing in on the other aircraft. You have to hold this lock-on crosshair over the aircraft until it turns red, then you can fire the missile. Sometimes it helps to hold the Red Lock-On status for a second or two before firing, because the other pilot might spook and use his flares early, after the flares dissipate, you lock-on again, and you can fire the missile which will more than likely hit unless they fly behind cover. Hope this helps!
It takes a little bit of practice but trust me, you will get it!! Try practicing all the maneuvers one by one then combine them slowly! I believe in you! 🔥🔥🔥
