My best guess is the zip ties on the scope are for parts that rotate to either adjust zoom or disassemble and the tab gives you something to actually push on incase you're wearing gloves or its wet

This game looks terrible what happened? The texture pop-in, the model pop-in when you're 5 feet away. The horrible shadows. Do you have it all turned down for performance reasons?
My series X version after season 3 has the same model and texture pop in. I’m guessing they either messed something up, or this is how they optimized the game. As when I played at launch I had framerate problems every game, I don’t anymore. The game is kinda unpleasant to look at now. So much pop in. Edit: my shadows seem to be better in this video, so my guess is Ravic has got his settings to low for the best frames.
Model pop-ins seem to be a game optimization thing, as I get them too, however you only really notice if you’re looking for this kind of stuff, as when you’re in the middle of a gunfight or driving vehicles it’s pretty much unnoticeable
Yeah that was there way of "improving performance" make the bubble smaller for where the level of detail is normal. It's like ten or fifteen meters out where the level of detail drops. You can see it easily when you run around in the grassy parts of Renewal. I made the blanket question in the Summer before the game launched asking what magic code or change to Frostbite they made so they could have 128 players. Turns out they didn't have anything remotely close to it and are using the same tricks they did in BF4, BF1, and BFV. There was probably an overestimation on what the hardware would be capable of and biting off more than they could chew with some of the concept in this game. Although it's not really surprising with multi-generation console releases for Battlefield since BF4 was the same, absolute drop in quality and sacrifices made to make it work on two generations of consoles.

Although I haven't tested it myself so I can't really confirm it will fix your issue but it's the only thing I can think of outside of the other way which is to add a friend online that is in a populated region and join their party and queue with them.
