We went from one of the kind MP sandbox to fighting AI. 2042 is still only BF game I didn't bought (although they gave it for free at the end). I pulled out my pre order after 1h of playing Beta and it wasn't because of bugs. And I still don't regret it. Embarrassing

Same. I've had the opportunity to demo test 2042 and textures won't load, and the funniest part is that an invisible car killed me and I didn't fully understand if it was a game mechanic or a bug. Either way, BF1 or BF5 has much better gameplay. I love BF4 but I find it quite boring when I'm on the losing side, you just get obliterated.

The worst thing about this mode is how lazy it is, those Dead Space Necromorphs exist in the Frostbite engine due to the remastered version of Dead Space, they could literally have used the assets of that, but they didn't even bother doing that. It is clealy just about selling those skins paywalled behind the pack and providing nothing beyond the absolute minimum in every other aspect.

Actually shocking lmao. First game, my teammates were programmed worse than the geist AI and couldn't survive beyond 30 seconds, the actual AI just stand still, camping the spawners is just stupid. Only death I had was by being instantly taken down from behind from metres away. Went like 500-1. Oh, and half the rounds end before all the AI have even been eliminated making it stupidly easy 🙃

This has greater implications for the next battlefield. Marcus Letho leaving and his studio deleted overnight after a lot of investment. EA selling themselves literally and no one touched them. This update ruined my only part of the game that gave me any sense of happiness. Using Jets. Tell me why the Jets (worst air vehicle in the game next to the stealth helicopter) get their cannon nerfed when they’re already hard enough to use. Yesterday I played the original mw3 (2011) spec ops and survival. Survival is SO MUCH well thought and deep than this mode, and it's a 13 year old game, and it is it's 4th mode. You had campaign, MP, spec ops and survival. I really miss old games. They re simple but we'll made. Today's gaming resume to: everything in the game has to generate ungodly amounts of money. Just check out what EA did to apex legends battlepass. It's laughable. It's disgusting. Same thing happening to R6. 3 weeks to fix the deadzone bug (which killed the game on consoles) but they released a patch to fix the store 24hrs after the season launched. It's so bad, it's sad as f*ck

I understand the criticisms of the game, and I still have plenty of gripes. But I can say I do not share the anti-PvE sentiment you do. I was pretty excited for this event as I suck at PvP. Just not as fast as I used to be. Plus I play a certain way, which isn’t all twitchy. Anyways, I’m still gonna try the mode out, might have to make myself like it, which shouldn’t have been the case. Oh well. Me any my buddy have been playing off and on for the past 2 weeks and for 5 dollars I’d say this game is quite fun.

The beginning of a new round of this mode ist boring, longing. It get´s better to the end. But the best thing is: You can farm attachments for weapons that are playable in this mode. BUT that is just for noobs, that don´t have these. Others will test this mode and stay away after a few rounds. I hope the next BF-Game will be better than this one has been and is. Or else, I think, EA and the community will have to bring another franchise to a grave. Another good studio shut down...
