Battlefield Hardline is a way better game imo. People only dislike it because it isnt the same carbon-copied military shit from bc2-bf4 Dont get me wrong, I like the military ones, but how tf do people hate hardline so much for being police instead

@@ChickentNug I hardline enjoyed it a lot on ps3 when I was in a clan and the game was very good and fun at the same time, even more so if you play it with friends. I still understand people being unhappy with the game but at least it was playable unlike 2042 in its current state. What I liked about hardline apart from humor, was the customization of weapons and characters (especially if you had the last dlc that allowed you to make your own skins for these last two).

Yeah, i think BFV did a great job with the class system and movement, but was overlooked because of bad launch and questionable marketing

bfv feels too run-n-gun and COD-like, IMO. I prefer the slower, more measured gunplay from 3 and 4

@@KZ_MMA_ I definitely agree, it helped add to the immerison. The fact all medics and squad members could revive was much more better than medics spending a gear slot and for squadmates it's better than dying to later spawn on those squadmates.

Yeah bro, I never understood why it was so hated, I guess the hate came from the launch trailer, and then some bad design decisions, and I can understand that, it's a common thing in BTF, but as far as gameplay and gunplay goes, it's objectively the best in the saga. Running while crouching and sliding, lying on the ground in different directions and shooting towards all of them, the new easier way to hold bipods, a faster game pace, a better rewarded medic class to incentivize people to work as a team and heal teammates.... In short, I find it ridiculous that so many people care about the "historical accuracy" of WWII, when most of these people play with hacks, or are the kind of people who never took into account basic facts of real life warfare, like that LMGs and MMGs cannot be carried and fired by a single person (in real life these were stationary weapons held by 2-3 soldiers because their average weight was about 30 kg), or the fact that in the real World War II, the fighting lasted days only in the trenches, with only soldiers shooting each other in the distance and some died of disease or starvation, and in video games, including this one, people go like lone wolves running all over the map killing left and right, so the truth is, I don't know what is so important now with the historical fidelity.

@@serious9973 my thoughts exactly, I absolutely love this game. After around 2 years of playing I find new little spots to hide and I still don’t have mastery on every gun. Hell, I still have yet to upgrade all of my vehicles lol.

@@slenderman4946 Because of marketing/communication. Before the game launch, the game was described as a realistic take on WWII "as you have never seen before". Then the trailer came up and after a couple of seconds there is a fighting woman with a prostethic arm and a British soldier with a Katana on his back. Because of that people started complaining about the realistic take and things went downhill from that.

I liked bf4 better than bf1 but bf1 feels more immersive at times than bf5 but bf5 is the best feeling and very emotionallh attached to me wih the end round final push

For me, BFV's biggest downside are the "red dot sights". Ruins the little realism there is.

@L does seem like everyone forgot how the developers basically told everyone to fu%# off, like it or shu# up, etc to put it in lamens terms. BF2042 is the result of fans accepting getting sh## on and getting more sh## in return.

Even worse: unlimited vehicle ammo. Just asking for campers. In BFV you have to play more aggressively to make sure you can resupply. If I have unlimited ammo, I don't need to move around as much so I'll just camp. If you wonder why 2042 infantry vs vehicles just sucks, it's this and the big flat open maps with very little cover

And yet camping is still the most prevalent in this game due to shitty visibility, heavy emphasis on using bipods, less explosives means less ways to dislodge bunkered players, and there being different prone animations making it even harder to know if you just ran by a dead body or not until its too late

True! BFV had problems, DICE did mistakes about switching TTK and so on, but at least the game felt like a Battlefield. Even if not appreciated by everybody, the team tried new things to enhance teamwork (such as the attrition system that i enjoyed since i mostly play the medic class in bf games). Imho 2042 is already doomed. Apart from bug and glitches, the game is busted to its core. The community doesn't like the maps, the Specialist idea and the flow of the game and the playerbase is already playing other titles. EA/Dice pulled the plug to games that were in much better condition than this one, thus i kinda expect them to start from scratch rather than investing other money to revive something that was dead from the beginning.

@@andrealombardi9434 people who complained about the attrition system are CoD migrants, that never touched BF1942 nor BF2. Those games had attrition, and more restricted combat roles, which I loved. I just want Battlefield to be a military shooter.

I'm so fuckin sick of FPS Cod like, Battleroyale and other Hero shooter bullshit. I want to play like a team, roles that define everyone task and get that fuckin objective. However, even if i like It, the game is not like Battlefield, and for fuck sake I really want a good Battlefield because there is nothing like it. @@andrealombardi9434 right now, at it's current state, I can confidently say that BFV's core gameplay is the strongest in the series, and I'm fucking serious. In battlefield 2042, literally everything is wrong or has issues. The game is buggy as hell, the gunplay is a massive nosedive from BFV, the maps look so fucking boring, bland and they're too big and open, a complete nosedive from BF1 (but, well, how do you top that), calling in vehicles is stupid and unbalanced af, the plus system is pretty useless, the lack of classes removes all traces of teamwork and turns it into a battle royale shoehorned into a battlefield game, the menus don't work, portal is extremely lackluster in features and the maps of choice aren't the best in the series, and hazard zone should've been a separate f2p game

Honestly I still cannot stand playing BF5. I have less than 30 hours in it, including the closed alpha and beta. The glitches, imbalance, visibility, lack of direction, lack of immersion, disappointing operations mode, and poor map design, all just make for a incredibly MEh experience. The game is far better now than it was at launch or even a year into it's life. But it just left a really bad taste in my mouth. I've just stuck with BF1, BF4, and Bad Company 2.

I’m not gonna give DICE an inch of forgiveness after 2042, but the community gave up on BFV before it even had a chance. Part of the reason was the developers acting up on social media, and the wacky game trailers before launch. The pacific DLC made up for a lot of the launch issues
