Battlefront +, Battlefront 2022, and Battlefront: Clone Wars are all AMAZING mods, and I think the dev teams behind each one should come together and compile ALL of their work into a “Battlefront 3” mod, and then work together to keep updating and listening to community feedback for balancing purposes, as well as new content ideas

The fact that the mod has Chewbacca with a stormtrooper helmet just warms my heart. I remember the good times in lego star wars when you would come over to the helmet dispenser and the helmet would not fit the Chewie's head

Fr. The 3rd one doesn't need to be super different from the 2nd one. Just make star wars battlefront 2 with more maps, better graphics (not that battlefront 2 needs really any better), a new campaign, new maps and characters. Ngl, I dont like the idea of a first person shooter. I hope it's not gonna be "call of duty......but star wars"

They should've switched battlefront to a live service model which would add content over time, there is so much star wars content that they would always be relevant. An ashoka update, obi wan from the show skin maybe, the bad batch, new armour sets, characters from the anime anthologies. The potential was endless

Something I noticed earlier today is that they even went so far as to change Vader's breathing on the menu and while he's running in game to sound accurate when you're using his battle damaged skin

They could have done so much with this game.. it disappoints me with how games are now a days compared to how in depth things used to be, yeah the visuals are dated with older titles but they put real passion and effort into those games.. OG Battlefront 2 had multiple campaigns and game modes, space battles were more interesting it wasn't just scripted objectives you could do as you please to the enemies Star Destory either board it and knock it out from inside or go after the life support shields etc

Read the same thing a hundred times already and all I can say is: take off your nostalgia glasses. Yes OG BF2 was amazing for its time, but… The new BF2 has UNDOUBTEDLY more depth in every single class and the heroes are so much more refined. There is an actual skill ceiling for every class and char now, sth that did not exist for the old game at all. The old game was mainly focused on SP experience, the new one mainly on online MP experience. If someone asked me today if I would rather play the old or the new one for the rest of my life I‘d happily take the newer game. TLDR: The newer game has more depth, a different target audience and you are simply dwelling in nostalgia

@@ArthuriusG99Broad oversimplification, but you´re right about the state of games at launch. But that does not mean that modern games are generally lower quality, that is 100% not the case. I could give you a hundred examples of the last 5 years, including Elden Ring, Death Stranding, and even Battlefront 2 (game has so much attention to detail and is crafted with so much obvious love and passion) .

I could’ve seen a new game mode "order 66" regular supreme but after sometime pass the order is issued and all Jedi and Sith are set as the enemy. They themselves are put in a group together with the task to escape (very similar mechanics to Ewok hunt)
