Talking BattleTech is my thing , tbh happy with the switch to Capellans arm twist I pulled ........ And I'm glad you've enjoyed them , honestly my gripe with the Davions is that they are too vanilla
Oh the Grasshopper C the WORST Grasshopper by removing a weapon from the infamously bad 5J model to replace it with a C3 slave ........ And that's coming from someone who likes C3 😂
I'd bring either a Chaparral or Heliopolis or however you spell it for artillery ...... In classic I'd normally frown of mech carried artillery outside of being a Capellan but I feel an ArrowIV Heliopolis would be an asset in this game ....... Just leave it at home on Urban maps
With the way the game treats artillery now, it's not worth the slot. Indirect fire requires 2 turns and unless the target isn't moving, you aren't score much damage if any.
17:55 yup despite going Enforcer II and then III for some reason the Davions still don't fix the Enforcers rear armour ...... Duffer Ironically I either go the OG offering , the 3050 5D skip all the IIs and IIIs and then the dark ages 5R with its fancy Large re-engineered laser
33:00 I dunno about Silver Bullet gauss rifles the fact they don't have a solid shot makes me want to say an LB 10X is better ......... But I have a Carronade that combines a silver bullet with a normal Gauss which I love
Other heavy striker idea Marauder with plasma rifles a couple ER meds and an LB 10x ......... Tell me what you got I'll come up with ideas if you're lost for them
Does Davey Crockett ArrowIV ammo exist in this ? Like in classic nukes are pretty much banned despite being featured in Alternate Eras ....... I feel this game could have them 😂
Yes it does. Very expensive to run. Cost 1 million per use I think. There are also Cruise missiles in the game. Smaller version. Only on a tank peticular tank it can be run on. "While the CM/50 is the smallest of the Cruise Missile family, it is nonetheless utterly devastating. The missile is loaded with a small yield nuclear warhead, smaller than a Davy Crockett but still capable of annihilating small 'mechs in a single shot. The immense bulk and absurd ammo weight requirements limit this weapon to being mounted on the Kalki superheavy tank."
Eeewwww that Corsair the lower tonnage one is worse too 🤢 A mech I'm totally unfamiliar with ...... Like the Aerospace fighter is good too maybe not Lucifer levels but nice
