I realized that the Fast and Furious movies predominately targeted men and boys, the exact audience they wanted to get rid of.

Wait... wait... Kate is Alice's moral compass? KATE?! LMAO Kate was conceited, antagonizing, and selfish, even kills someone. Wait - that actually makes some sense.

Alice killing Rhyme’s patient in cold blood really disturbed me. Alice is now a main character played as sympathetic, but she kills completely innocent people without a second thought. This show is insight into how psychotic the writers are. They are probably narcissistic sociopaths just as dangerous as Alice.

Let's not forget that Ryan's previous vehicle was a van that she lived in down by the river.

How people figure out who current Batwoman is Random Crow guy: He looks at security footage of her fighting and collects blood samples for possible dna test Sophie: Finds a bat-device in Mary's car and looks at recording This random Crow guy has done more realistic detective work than both Kate and Ryan combined.

The ultimate twist for this series would be for all of this to be a coma induced dream for 'alice' who wakes up and finds out she's actually black canary.

I used to wonder why people would watch shows of people injuring themselves on television for laughs. I think I get it now after watching Thorias’ reactions to Batwoman.

Batwoman's writers being dropped on their heads at birth is looking like more and more of a possibility.

I'm going to be really sad when this show ends because it'll mean 30 minutes of comedy with Thorias will be over.

At the end of the episode when Sophie discovers Ryans secret I sarcastically said "oh my G-d", and then Sophie actually said the same, and I died laughing

Wasn't 13 year old Kate the one who 'betrayed' Alice by not using their twin telepathy to find her in Evil Ned Flanders' basement? Why would she be Alice's moral compass and not, say, her mom since she's only family member not on Alice's kill list?

The idea of Kate being anyone’s moral compass is more terrifying than What’s his name going full on scorched earth 🖕🏻

7:18 Kate, who stole Batman's costume and gadgets from his house, got so pissed that people thought she was Batman that she said she wouldn't let him take credit for her work even though she was doing that with his, spent her so called "crime fighting career" letting people she could have easily caught get away including Alice, ruined her bisexual girlfriend's marriage by convincing her she was just a lesbian in denial and so on is Alice's moral compass? No wonder she's so fucked up then.

Remember when the writers made fun of the Adam West show for having shark repellent? Compared to a portable AI that you can just plug into a random car to make it drive itself, shark repellent seems rather plausible.

At this point, I like to think the writers just want to troll you because you are the last remaining viewer.

I am absolutely addicted to "Fast and Furious" and didn't know if I was going to make it to the next movie without dying. I know we should be happy that their are only 2 episodes left but I'm concerned that these might be the one that break Thorias. I mean we know it's going to be god awful based on the shows track record but it's clear this one will be all over the place. First they have to introduce "New Kate" reveal her as Kate and make her "good" again all in two episodes where we also have to deal with whatever Black Mask plan is, the Crows finding out who Ryan is, Alice & Oceans "Redemption" and Jacob's drug problem all with some BS virtue signaling squeezed in. That would be hard for talented writers imagine how these clowns will screw it up

So, the way to hide the drug trade requires numerous people to speed through the city in loud cars on the way to the pickup point and speed away in loud cars, assuming they haven't drawn enough attention when they all went to one location. This is first draft writing while on drugs and constantly being distracted.

Apparently that was the wrong message to send in a superhero story. All he needed was an app for his phone so it could do all the work for him. That's how a REAL hero does it! 🤢

How did viewership for this episode shoot up by over 100k?!? Joe Biden, the World Health Organization, Johns Hopkins, and the Box Office numbers for Captain Marvel and Rise of Skywalker ALL find these new viewership numbers highly suspicious...

Remember: these people were seriously arguing that "continuity" is an outdated concept in storytelling. They genuinely believe that it's irrelevant, so they don't bother with it. It's a late-stage iteration of "feelings over facts".

Witness all; the day Thorias stopped sitting on the bomb for us, and started lobbing them out for bad writers. 4 Ideas they didn't have - which are at least intentionally terrible. (Chosen to suffer, maybe, but still...) * Also the scene with Rime is only showing that a 'mind' doc will always try to mind muck, when it can save her own arse. She doesn't care about helping Alice, and there's nothing in there left to fracture that would end up any worse than what she's already done. You know that, and I know that, even Rime knows that, but Alice wants to believe she's not responsible so it's a vulnerable point to be exploited. A-a-and I probably just gave the point a lot more thought than any of the writers bothered to.

And Street Fighter games did a better job at a villain redemption arc with Cammy and Juri than Batwoman with Alice. Juri just up and asks Cammy when they fight back in SF IV if she is going to use brainwashing as an excuse for everything she does again, which Cammy says no and says she will face the consequences before the two fight, Juri becomes a better person in V, but still wants to kill Bison, because he killed her parents.

Its fascinating how every week the writers always come up with a new way to suck and not make sense. Impressive

I'm actually happy this season has been shortened. Thorias doesn't look like he could take 20 plus episodes of this dogshit.

Why isn't he in federal prison if he's such a menace to society? Hrm? 12:27-12:44 Naturally, ignoring details is what these writers do best. 13:37-14:02 Yep, Sophie's intellect leaves much to be desired, as she's shown throughout the whole series. 16:22-17:00 Even more so because ACAB, remember? "whatever the episode needs to happen, happens" - ah, so it's the 80's-cartoon-give-no-shit-style of writing. But then again... even those cartoons had often more production-value and less continuity-errors than this high-budget-TV-show. Don't know if that's funny or sad.

Of course Ryan forget the Batmobile's driving AI. This is woman who ignored a radioactive shoulder wound for months because she was mad that Luke questioned her ability to be Batwoman. Blatant stupidity is the core of her character.

Truly impressive how they manage to retcon/contradict themselves in ways even a toddler would find dumb.

As someone who works in a plant with multiple products, it's possible for people to know the ingredients in a product, but not know the recipe. That's why products have ingredients lists on them without worrying if some other companies will successfully copy them. My question is how could Luke know how much of said ingredients is required. What if they had more than enough of it stored away somewhere. How could he know this? Who are we kidding here. These writers are the same people who will hold up a product made for men and one made for women and complain there's a price difference while ignoring the ingredients amount between the two are different.

They did show that Ocean managed to stow a flower in his boot when Safiyah caught him, as stupid as it was. Also, I think Desert Rose always grew on Coriana only, it's just that it took blood to actually bloom.

I'm so confused...What role does Alice even have in this season? She's neither a villain or hero or anti-hero. I get it's a character arc but what character role does she have?

Some more stupids to think about; Ryan said her car had 1500 horsepower when she bought it at the interview. When I asked someone who knows more about cars than me, which is most people, admittedly, they said only the fastest cars in the world can barely match that. Also, it's the only question they asked Ryan, who didn't even bother to wear any sort of disguise to hide her identity from False Face, who know she has a connection to Angelique. Blackwoman also has super blood now, so What's His Name getting his hands on her blood means he can now cure all the things. He'll probably use it for evil because white man. Also, my first thought was that he was Sophie's ex husband, but I honestly don't know. And finally, Batwoman is a litterbug and doesn't know how to clean up after herself. Edit: A couple more thoughts. Wouldn't it be better to transport the drug ingredients in more inconspicuous cars and to drive all normal like? So, you know, you don't draw attention to your important operation of fixing Gotham by peddling a deadly drug? And why didn't Angelique tell Sophie and Blackwoman to take Black Mask in? That would have been a lose/lose situation for him, since he'd either be in jail or lose his only means of making Snakebite, and it would prove Angelique is a good person if she put her life on the line to stop a villain.

Okay, I've been letting it be because I don't give a single flying fuck about this show, but since it keeps coming up, THAT'S NOT HOW HYPNOTISM WORKS WRITERS OF BATWOMAN. They literally can't make Alice's crimes WORSE actually by trying to claim hypnotism. Hypnotism is not brainwashing, it's suggestion under a more easily-convinced, temporary, and trance-like state. You cannot be forced to do something you have zero inclination to do on your own anyways. If a suggestion would go beyond the threshold of something you'd actually do if there wasn't some lingering conscious limits, you'd reject it. It wouldn't work because hypnosis requires some measure of voluntary action. While it can be and is being used therapeutically to treat some mental and physical disorders, it cannot be used to erase and restore memories. In other words, Alice was already inclined to murder, and the "hypnotism" she went under later in life made her do nothing that she herself wasn't okay with doing anyways. She has literally never not been a psychopath since childhood. There is no excuse for her, and trying to add sympathy at any point by claiming hypnotism demonstrates once more the stupidity of the writers AND shows that Alice is just as much of a monster as we thought before. Nothing has changed. I know I shouldn't have expected anything from the writers of this schlock, but I kept feeling more annoyed when it was brought up lol. Thanks for attending my TED talk.

13:10 How did you miss the opportunity to take a jab at Ryan here? The whole AI thing was making it clear that it wasn't Ryan who was the great driver but tech keeping her from running into walls. Honestly a Knight Rider-ish AI is the only thing that makes many Batmobiles maneuvering abilities make sense.

Once this monstrosity of a show dies, it will be lauded for being "the first gay superhero TV show" and all those groundbreaking accolades...while they hope nobody remembers just what a disastrous train wreck it was from beginning to end. These videos on this channel need to be preserved.

It only protects her as much as Kevlar now, and she can still feel each hit? Seriously? 16:14 Yes, of course. The Batmobile AI still being in the car is further proof that the writers rely too much on the Idiot Ball to push the narrative, to the point where it goes beyond the point of being an unusual occurrence and turns the whole thing into an Idiot Plot. They can't write a story built on people doing anything sensible or listening to the one sensible character (Luke), nor can they build their story around people not being at least as smart as Danny Rand. Both Kate and Ryan have gotten themselves in trouble with a particularly dumb plan (such as when Kate's idea of infiltrating a mob boss' building was to go clubbing and promptly gets captured when she walks in and picks the book up off of the table without even considering that it was obviously a trap), and everything around Sophie and the Crows' storylines run on them being more incompetent than Chief Wiggum and not locking the doors to their cars ever. Basically, Sophie doesn't figure out that Ryan is Batwoman because of detective skill like Luke indicated (or like how Sophie and Mary figured out Kate was Batwoman), but by way of Ryan leaving something behind that anyone could find that flashed "Ryan Wilder is Batwoman" in bright neon letters.

You ask how Alice could get worse if her memory gets wiped. She might actually start killing women or minorities and not just straight white men.

This whole show is structured with a lifesize Lego building atop a grape jelly foundation, but they do actually show how Ocean smuggled the flower. I had to go back and watch it, but there is one shot where he and Alice are caught. The shot focuses on his boot, which shows a stem tucked into it. When he had his memory erased, he still had the stem in his boot. I'm not saying this makes a lick of sense, but they do make a point to show that Ocean did succeed in his plan.

I still want to know what the big box thing over the window of Thorias house is that you see in the opening.

It's definitely too convenient that Black Mask wasn't unmasked when he was legit on his knees, bleeding, and at the mercy of Batwehmen and Sophie. I can't wait for this season to end.

The complete lack of any plot consistency episode to episode is a marvel to behold. But how is it possible? 1) Are the writers genuinely this bad at their job and absent of any logical thought, 2) The network has no road map or supervision/overview of the show, nor makes the writers communicate with each other, 3) All involved (network, writers, actors, film crew etc) simply don't care as they're getting paid and there's no better offers at this time. Or.. all of the above?

Is it just me or is that these writers aren't even attempting to phone it in? These plots are a lot like they put a bunch of preteenage kids with ADHD , fed them a bunch of candy and caffeine, gave them a bunch of computers and told them to write the script then took all those scripts, put them into a woodchipper and reconstructed the scripts into one piece of flaming shit and proclaimed "Here's our work!"

Your reaction to this show reminds me of an old website I found that was around long before RU-vid reactions. It was called Mark Reads and later Mark Watches. His bosses had him react to the Twilight books. His visceral hatred came though in every chapter he reviewed. It was a primer of what really, really bad writing looked like.

Can somebody do me a favor and calculate the airtime of alice, and the airtime of both batwomans combined, and see who has more airtime. I'm almost willing to bet it's alice. The writers are obsessed with her, and in season 2 episode 1 she even admitted she had no character motivations because she just does stuff because reasons. The writers can't write!
