My introduction to Bauhaus. I don't think I'll ever stop loving this song.

Peter‘s voice is incredible

This is one of my favorite of their songs. The way Daniel Ash used guitar effects and tone as part of the performance was light-years beyond what most guitarists still manage to this day. The music melds this swirling, atmospheric quality with very distinctive rhythm, reminding me of a mountain: its foundation is cragged and concrete, but the peaks are enshrouded in endlessly swirling, shapeshifting fog banks. And don't even get me started on Peter Murphy's vocal performance! So haunting the hair on my toes starts slithering in my socks. Just love this song.

The songs and videos were so much better back then.

Great video. This is why I love RU-vid. All these fantastic bands I could only listen to and see on the covers of their albums in the 80's are now brought to life in their music videos many years later. Amazing and very appreciated.

Peter Murphy have the most beautiful eyes ever.

Simply infectious beyond ALWAYS. The guitar riff on opening grabbed me instantly the first time I heard it mannnnny years ago.

Filmed in an abandoned warehouse. It was very cold and unheated. Hence all of the steam from tea cup and voices. 3:34 At end of the non-dub section the band are really tired and asleep in the car on the ride back. Director took footage of them napping.

Maybe it's just me but does anyone else think that this sounds similar to Girls on film by Duran Duran? It's making me think that perhaps Duran Duran got their inspiration for their song from this one. I know that Duran Duran is not a goth proper band but they're goth adjacent if you will.
