Bayonetta 3 Nintendo Switch Review - Is It Worth It? 

This makes me so happy. Bayo 2 was the reason I purchased a Wii U day one. I've purchased all of these games multiple times across multiple consoles. Bayo 3 has been my most anticipated game since it was announced. To hear that it has been implemented so well actually makes me a tad emotional. I can't wait for this Friday.

Wow 10/10 from Nintendo life that's rarely given definitely need to check this out one day I've actually never played a single Bayonetta game

I loved playing with the katana in previous games, but it COMPLETELY changed Bayonetta's playstyle. Seems like they put all that into Viola's character, which sounds like a smart idea.

So, we already assume that Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarok and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will be nominated for game of the year. Will Bayonneta 3 be in the running as well ?

It’s been a long and wild wait for this game, especially in the past week with the recent controversies behind Bayonetta’s former VA, but I can’t wait to finally pick it up and play it myself In only a few days. And these glowing reviews for it are making my excitement all the higher.👌🏽

Regardless of how good or bad Scarlet/Violet ends up, I think it’s now safe to say that 2022 is the second best year for Switch games ever. Kirby, Xenoblade, Splatoon, Bayonetta, Mario + Rabbids all had series best entries, and people seem to forget that Arceus is also a 2022 game, meaning that Pokémon already had one great game this year no matter what. Indies like Neon White and Shredder’s Revenge add even more icing to the cake. Yes, Strikers and Switch Sports sucked, and we didn’t get certain games we were expecting, but the majority of what we got is absolutely fantastic and the best showing since 2017.

This review has made me 100x more excited for this game, through out the whole video I just kept saying “oh wow” this review is just amazing

I always loved Bayonetta since the first one. Glad i pre-ordered my collector's edition of 3

Ever since I played the first game a few years ago, it's been one of my favourite games that I have ever played. I bought it on multiple platforms and even got the platinum trophy for the PS3 version. Played 2 a few months later after realising it was on the Switch and for a long time have been waiting for this game to come out. Bayonetta 3 is my most anticipated game of 2022 and has been since before the year even came about and while i don't think I'll have a chance to play the game until around Christmas it is still a very good and exciting feeling to just know that it exists and the that it got 10/10 gives me lots to look forward to.

I wasn't sold on the kaiju stuff but now that I know it's implemented well... awesome. It'll give the game its own identity, and I'll have reasons to play this and 2 over and over for different reasons.

I've always been a fan of Bayonetta since the original was released for XBox. I've been anticipating this game since the first teaser years ago, and to see that the wait has finally paid off AND has receuved such a high review rating makes me even more excited to play it.

I think the first game was up there too if they just trimmed off the weird levels with the bad physics and did something about that music (I could not play Bayonetta 1 with the in-game music) Can't wait to play for myself

Hideki Kamiya knows how to do hack n slash action games very well. I kept my pre-order for the Bayonetta 3 premium edition and can't wait for Friday.

Now can we unlock Jeanne as a playable character like Bayo 1 and Bayo 2? I’d love to play as her again in combat sections 🙂

I'm still struggling to understand why everyone is saying the block takes some getting used to... it's mapped to the same button as dodge so wouldn't it be used the exact same reflex? Or is perhaps the timing tighter for block than dodge?

I have this pre-ordered and I'm very excited for it. I've played the first one probably 20+ times, the second one I never got to play because of what Kamiya did so now that it's come back around I will finally get to play some more… Sans Bayonetta two.

10/10? Man I knew it was going to be great especially after they made Astral Chain and I saw it’s influences in the footage. Looking forward to my Masquerade Edition this Friday. There maybe more as some people canceled theirs so scoop em up before they see the reviews and change their minds👀

Looks like the infernal demons add a lot of variety to Bayonetta's already massive arsenal. It makes her like a puppet character, similar to V from DMC 5, but without having that be her only means of attack.

Did Zion get a new last name? Am I crazy? So glad this game is looking amazing. Literally can't wait for this weekend!

Crazy how much has happened behind the scenes with this series now. Hopefully people can just enjoy the game and ignore the drama.

I'm glad to hear the game is good but I do have one question regarding the review: you didn't touch at all into the character customization. We saw before that you can change colors, outfits and even earring for Bayonetta. My question is: can you do the same for Viola and, can you have Bayo sporting her Bayonetta 1 and 2 looks? It's not a deal breaker by any means, but I'm not a huge fan of her design in this game and would rather play with her bayo 2 look if such option exists.

Looks good, I ran through Baynetta 2 a few months ago to prep for this new game, glad I did, it will be interesting how the old and new compair.

Yeah Madama Butterfly looks amazing fighting alongside Bayonetta, i can't wait to play this, these last 8 years were a long wait for sure, it's going to be worth it though, it's Platinum's flagship series :)

Astral Chain is going to be tough to beat. I can’t wait to play Bayonetta 3 on Friday! I bought a switch for Astral Chain and it was worth it because it became the best action game I’ve ever experienced! Plus owning a switch is worth it alone for having the best and most Platinum Games Action titles than any other system. Astral Chain, Nier Automata, The Wonderful 101, Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2, and now Bayonetta 3! I’m a platinum games fanatic. To me, Devil May Cry has been outcried. The new Bayonetta has got to be good after astral chain a single game became the action masterpiece! Boom!!

When platinum couldn't make scalebound, they bring scalebound element into Bayonetta. I ain't even mad, I'm hyped!

I completed the game and I gotta say, I think the game has someone the highest highd in the franchise but I also think it has some really glaring flaws that really soured the experience for me. The main one being the ending.

man this game looks amazing and im definitely buying day one, but my god those resolution drops are insane in the footage here. Im glad they didn't sacrifice FPS but still oof. Hopefully it'll be better for a replay on Switch Pro

Ive never played a Bayonetta game before. They dont look like my kinda thing, but after this review I'll certainly check it out.

I would have liked more elaboration on weapon sets, as the way they're described here seems to be exactly as they function in Bayonetta 2.
