I kinda thought the same thing. But I don't care if they're marketing in the video. I like to find out about different products. I think they should have explained a bit more in the video about WHY this expensive oil was so good other than the fact that it was expensive. Gold dust is expensive, but I don't' think it'd make a good facial product. Na' mean? lol
@@knowledgeincrease3326 What bologna. Most clients do NOT prefer gloves. It's just not the way it's done- ever. And a barber who DOES do this is no barber.

Most if not all classic barbers prefer as well ......my point is in this modern culture with everyone being so cautious about germs I can understand why clients would have a sense of protection with gloves. But I'm not saying I disagree with your perspective. No need to get tasty with words lol

The shave video that talks more about the products then the shaving. This is no shaving video, this is pure commercial. All you need is a straight razor, shaving soap and a brush. If you need an oil, olive oil is enough and it is not expensive. I have been using Mediterranean extra virgin olive oil for years.

You dont need all these expensive products. All you need is some crisco, vegetable oil, and a razor. I have the same razor for 20 years as long as you keep it sharpened it good
I've read some of the comments...Haters stop hating...He is a very skilled barber and I'm glad that I can be shown new products for shaving and potential gifts for family and friends.

Eh I’ve definitely seen it before. When I’ve asked, the reason has usually been because the barber is trying to prevent hair splinters (which apparently can be quite painful in aggregate)
When you put Shave butter and in 5 min you will shave his chin , he won't get any benefit from any vitamins because shaving process is taking layers of epidermis of the skin , hence absorptions site . 🙅
I did that's my problem with this, for lack of a better word, crap video. To add to the cheap nature this video gives off we have the pretentious tone and bad pronunciation of certain words...
So, ALL YOU NEWBIE WET SHAVERS, if you want to learn how to shave yourself with the end results like that of a professional barber---study this guy and other barbers like him. If you keep watching amateur(although very enthusiast)wet shavers only--you are very unlikely to learn or understand the intricacies of wet shaving.

Guys, I had more facial hair than that when I was 14. That peach fuzz will shave off clean with a bic razor and barbasol; this process is completely unnecessary unless you actually have a beard.
