I am using BBBE to break my benzo and alcohol addiction. The stricter the better because there is NOTHING ELSE that can break this cycle. Getting my LMNT tomorrow even though it is flavoured. Oh well. Got a crap ton of beef in my freezer. Excited to get started! Feb 1st is the beginning of the rest of my life.
Been doing BBBE several times, and for me it’s not weight loss as much as it is a total body reconstruction and always feeling amazing. Most times I only lost 7 to 12 lbs, but my body looked like I lost so much more weight. Always feel great when I do this program.

I started BBB&E on January 15th. I started because I was at my wits end with seasonal affect disorder. The end of December and the first two weeks of the new year hardly had any sunshine and I was spiraling down. I finally ordered one of those special lamps. But by Saturday I was really struggling. I thought that maybe this food plan might help and then I could see results hopefully in a couple of weeks along with the lamp. So I started Sunday before the lamp arrived. And I swear this is true by Thursday for the first time in my adult life I had no seasonal affective disorder symptoms! By Friday, my regular struggles with depression were gone, and I had a lightness and happiness that I have not had in a very long time. I have been eating a low-carb food plan for a long time and that has helped enormously with my depression. In four days doing this plan, my life has changed a lot! We have continued to have mostly gray days and yet I have been more productive felt a general sense of happiness every day since that Thursday. The first two days that I felt well, I just figured were a fluke.That fluke has lasted about 13 days already. I have not been taking any medication’s. Nothing has changed in my life since January 15 except going on the BBB & E food plan. It has been very easy and simple to do. I do miss condiments and sauces, but I’ve been eating condiments and sauces all my life. It’s time my taste buds took a backseat to the well-being of the rest of my body. I will be doing this for at least three months and then think about adding foods to see what my mental health will tolerate. It will be fun experimenting. I recommend this for everybody. It’s not complicated and it’s not expensive. I have to put my big girl panties on every day and tell my taste buds they need to sit down and take a backseat for once! I am more grateful for this program than I could ever express! I still am totally shocked that I’ve had such amazing results so quickly! Everybody who comes to this way of eating,will find their own healing in their own time. I guarantee that everybody who does this for at least 30 days will walk away with new insights into their own eating habits, and how to better eat for the rest of their lives! I lack imagination, so I literally eat beef, butter, bacon, and eggs. I scramble or fry eggs in butter. I buy beef when it’s on sale for $3.99 because that’s the lowest price any of our grocery stores have been going.That usually means sirloin or chuck in some form. If it’s in steak form, I broil it. If it’s in roast form I have slow cooked or recently experimented with my brand of the instant pot. I followed a recipe by KetogenicWoman. I put that in the freezer in 2 quarts Ziploc bags. Last week my local store had ground beef on sale for $2.99 a pound. That was a pleasant surprise. So I bought two 3 pound packages. I made a lot of meatballs. I like to have food in the freezer. That makes my life really easy. I also bought a bacon grease container a couple of weeks ago. It’s like the one that Neisha has only cream colored. It has very good reviews on Amazon. Bacon was recently on sale and I bought several packages and cooked them up over several days. I ate some each day I cooked and put the rest in the freezer. I now have one cup of bacon fat to make mayonnaise. And my grease container is full of bacon grease. Liquid gold! I have a corn beef brisket to cook soon. Finally something I can use mustard with. I am really missing condiments. I’m also missing cheese. I don’t eat a lot of cheese, but I do like a slice on burgers etc… I do have to confess, that I am using seasonings. Nothing exciting and I don’t buy blends from grocery stores. I have a spice shop across the river and there’s no sugar in anything. Since I have had such amazing results with my mental health using the seasonings, I’ll keep using them till I come up with a reason to stop. If that happens, I will just have to tell my taste buds to sit down and relax. I am starting a five day fast today. I’ve always come off extended fasts with broth and then Greek yogurt,eventually adding in scrambled eggs. Greek yogurt is not on the menu on BBB & E. I always get the Fage 5% Greek yogurt. I only eat yogurt when I come off an extended fast. I don’t know if it’s OK or if I should just go from broth to eggs. I will have to try and see what happens with the eggs. I do plan to start eating deviled eggs or egg salad. I’ll be making my own mayonnaise with the bacon grease. That experiment will be interesting. A couple of the videos I have watched said that even if the mayonnaise doesn’t really turn out it’s still a nice sauce. I always have lemon water in the fridge. Half a lemon cut into three slices per a half gallon of water. Sometimes I put tea bags in the lemon water.I have not been using any sweeteners. Because I am already low carb my obsessive food cravings were already diminished. I haven’t had any food cravings in the last two weeks. That’s amazing! However, my taste buds are bored. I can live with that. They have had way too much attention over the years. It will be interesting to see how that changes for me over the next couple of months. Will my taste buds adjust and settle down? I am really looking forward to seeing how my thinking continues to change. Will eating this way have a big impact on my relationship to food? I do a combination of OMAD and 2 meals a day. I have been doing that for a long time and it’s working very well with the BBB & E. I really recommend this for everybody! I truly believe that this is something that everybody will find interesting, and they will find a change in their lives. It may be a big change like mine or several small changes. Either way, they will see an improvement in their health and well-being. I wish I had done this years ago!
I've been carnivore for almost 4 weeks 0 carbs no cheating haven't loss an oz. Been keto 40yrs but I can say being on carnivore I feel fantastic. Love you and your beautiful family.
@@Paul-hl5ls True, Dr. Berry does say a tailors tape measure. I almost wrote that, but I feel most people won't bother and would use a regular measuring tape. Good Point!!
I'm doing lion diet with 1 exception. I have butter coffee with a little art sweetener every morning. I'll take my risk with my AM coffee as I'm dropping weight and healing continues. I think the mental joy it gives me is worth it

Just wanted to say. I am so touched by the number of people who are determined to get better. This community is so supportive. You are so right, Neisha, it's not all about losing weight, although, that is a great benifit but a change of lifestyle to heal addiction and other health issues. I am not even focusing on my weight but rather the healing of my body and soul. Thank you for all the work you and your husband do.

I just finished the last challenge but didn't loose but a couple pounds but I did go down a pants size. I'm so ready for this challenge too!!! Thank you for doing this for all of us.
I am going to try this BBBE for 90 days. My Turkeys just started laying so I can eat those or chicken and quail eggs. Low carb is not getting my A1C in the 5’s. I am still staying in the 6’s
Started gradually during Christmas, now BBBE. Have lost 15 lbs so far. I'm also type 2 diabetic so was a good reason for me to switch plus the added weight loss helps a lot. I take my blood sugar 1st thing in the am when I get up & it usually registers from 140 (136 this am) - 106. After 1-3 hrs after eating BBBE it has dropped below 100 each time. Still need to add more fat but unfortunately my lack of gall bladder (many, many yrs ago) & IBS make it a little uncomfortable for me in the bathroom area :( :( . Wish I knew about this carnivore info all those yrs ago & I probably wouldn't have been so quick to have had surgery. Was told it was full of sludge & had no idea or wasn't told I could change my diet to help restore. Thanks for all your videos & sharing your experience & information!!!
I'm gonna do but will be on a cruise Feb 8-13 th! So Will join to get back on track when I get back! I'm going to try to stay as close to ketovore as possible. But there will be drinking! So theres that! Lol

I love bacon grease too! I freeze it on a plastic plate; then break it into wafers - about a tablespoon each. I nibble the frozen wafers often as I pull them from the freezer ziplock to fry eggs or season everything. Just finished 30 days BBBE and lost 7.5 lbs. I did have unflavored seltzers and added a bit of stevia to them; and I had my coffee with HWC and stevia. Ate only beef, bacon, lamb and eggs and made the butter mayo a couple of times - so delicious with eggs. Egg salad with that may was incredible with dill weed added. Meat muffins of ground beef, lamb and ground bacon were a favorite. I plan to do mostly carnivore and a day or two a week of added veg like asparagus, green beans, napa cabbage salad with red wine vinegar and garlic. Best fatty meat is short ribs, braised or a really well marbled chuck roast. Thanks for the hints and helps.
I been watching studying and doing carnivore and I fall off and its sooo difficult to stay on track even though I’m sickly and tired in my body. Sad!!! I’m disappointed in myself . I’m not getting any younger. I have no excuses because my husband is carnivore
I really want to do this but I’m still recovering from getting 3 teeth pulled and I might do a couple weeks of just keto chow. It’s been 2 weeks and if I eat anything it gets in it and starts to throb.
I have to be real careful with eggs. They have to be pastured eggs. If not I get inflammation same with dairy only on occasions. So usually stick with fatty beef and some bacon.
I'm thinking how much this will help with my body composition!!! I already just drink black coffee but I put butter and an egg in if not fasting! So good! And daily minerals drops!And I put salt!
Neisha, RN I have fallen off the BBB&E. My glucose levels went up to 14 from 7. I'm starting over with ketovore or would carnivore be better. I'm not on medication, I know that my diet is key.🙏🏽
I did BBBE all of January and stopped yesterday. I did not like it one bit. I felt nauseous when I ate most of those meals and I did not enjoy any of those meals. I will stay on ketovore.
I’m preparing to go carnivore. Question, no cream in my coffee but I can blend butter in? Does the process of whipping cream to butter change things? Did keto for a year (fell off) but I remember so many people being grossed out by the butter but not cream. Ohh you answered this as I’m listening. Lol
When reintroducing foods after 3xb&e, how can I tell if the reaction to food is negative (besides the obvious cramps, headaches). Is any reaction I have mean that the food is not good for me? Just wondering what to look for.
Shot in the dark here. I was recently diagnosed with a cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy. I unfortunately have to take methotrexate for three months. How can I best take care of my body to avoid the long term effects of this drug?
Btw. You guys...please make yourself browned butter treats especially 8f you are addicted to anything that you don't want to be addicted to...smoking, sugar, alcohol, pizza...whatever...it is so helpful to eat a tiny treat of frozen browned butter whenever you feel the "urge". It has helped me these last 2 weeks and I will keep you updated! I figured that it is more healthy to eat butter...be addicted to butter than anything else. With time I think it will balance out. I also figured that maybe my brain needs this butter fat for mental stability too. Try it!🧈🧈🧈
