"Next up; Suffolk where in 2009 we met driveway layer Eddie Green. This time expert Mitch Westwood was on hand to comment on Eddies driveway laying skills. And they weren't pretty. Whilst watching Eddies work he told us that he'd weed killed and sealed the pathway before lying the tarmac -- but he hadn't.
Mitch explained: " The consequences of not doing those two things is that the algae and the dirt are going to be back pretty quick and within three or four weeks the whole thing is going to be dirty, grubby and covered in weeds again".
We confronted Eddie Green and he used some choice language telling Matt to" get a proper job" before speeding off.
But in March this year Eddie got another rude awakening when Suffolk Trading Standards prosecuted him for breaking customer protection laws and lying about being a limited company. He pleaded guilty to both counts and got an 18 month conditional discharge for each offence. He has had to forfeit all his signage, leaflets and pay £1000 costs."
