Did all BBC regions have separate continuity in the 70s?

+Giles Giles Yes The 12 English Regions had this . From March 1978 until March 1979. Pointless really as all programmes were networked except for Scotland,Wales and N.Ireland who have their own Continuity Announcers to this day Tuesday"s at 6.50pm [Manily Children"s Programmes] and Friday evenings at 10.15pm For the south the Continuity Announcers were Kate Adie pre BBC News days,John Hughes,Peter Macain and David Edwards.RIP Mum. From her former disabled carer. GOD BLESS!
