Dude..I didn't see ice age collision course...but I know your reaction to it was spot on. I remember when they said they were coming out with the movie...I was like.."Why aren't these characters dead yet." Good video.
My biggest issue with Nine Lives isn't the ridiculous plot , the generic execution of it , the fact that there practically wasn't a single moment in that movie where you feel any kind of enjoyment watching it , but that it happened to star one of my most fav actors of all time...the wonderful monumentally talented Kevin Spacey. I don't know who had what kind of dirt on him but that's the *only* way I could possibly explain why he would have anything to do with this movie , let alone star in the 'leading role'.
On the possibility of a potential sequel, in June 2016, Galen T. Chu, co-director of the film, stated that there were some ideas for the sixth installment........FUCK
My top 10 worst movies of 2016 10.Ghostbusters 9.Jane got a gun 8.Ben-Hur 7.The wild life 6.Dirty grandpa 5.Batman vs Superman 4.Independence day resurgence 3.Nine lives 2.Gods of Egypt 1.Norm of the north Dishorable mentions Ride along 2,ice age 5,suicide squad,Mike and Dave need wedding dates,The boy and Alice through the looking glass
I don't get why so many people don't like Kung Fu Panda 3. It certainly wasn't as good as the 2nd film, but it still was a good film. The animation improved, there were some funny moments, and the story was interesting. Not as interesting as the last two, but still interesting. The only issues I really had with it were the pacing and the story was a bit predictable. That's it. It could've been SO much worse than it is. I actually had fun with Kung Fu Panda 3. Just my opinion, though. ^^;
berrypie11 I dislike it for most of the same reasons Tony mentioned. A predictable and far less interesting story than the first 2. It seems to back peddle with its characters (mainly Po) and he behaves like he did in the first film. Cool villain design as always but ultimately an uninteresting one with not much motivation, too much slap stick. also they sidelined the Furious 5 super hard. I really wish the film would have progressed the story and characters further like the second one. That would make it a legendary franchise
Roy Senpai's Fan Club I can see what you mean. The story was a tad predictable. The villain definitely wasn't as interesting as the previous two, but he did manage to get a couple of laughs out of me. As for Po being the same, I actually like that. It shows that despite his high position, he can still be himself instead of being too proud or boring or anything. He's still innocent and learning new things. I also feel like the Furious 5 did get a little more attention in this film, but I know they don't get enough of it. I really wanna learn more about Tigress and Viper. They apparently want to make a few more sequels, so hopefully there will be better stories and character development. This movie was by no means perfect, but like I said, I still enjoyed it.
Has anyone seen the show I never bothered too. It looked like it was gonna be a watered down version of the movies. Also I wish some of the five did get utilized they built up that they had all these big names like jackie chan Angelina Jolee and Seth Rogen but they didn't get to do much in the first two movies, I think Monkey got like 1 line in the first movie maybe 2.
I'm with you in this one! I do agree that it'd be nice to see Po become a tad bit more mature but the Po we saw in that movie was still enjoyable. Then again, the first two movies (ESPECIALLY the second, I mean, whoa what a movie) set a super high bar for the third movie (story-wise) which unfortunately couldn't be passed (But I totally cringed at the part when Li Shang met the Five. They shook hands instead of bowing to each other. I was SO IRRITATED but maybe it's just me). They're actually planning to have six movies in total. I hope with the fourth movie we'll see more development and more awesomeness from both Po and the Furious Five.
My Top 10 Worst Movies of 2016 are: 10. Storks [1.5/5 (D+)] (Easily the most overrated movie I've seen in 2016. Not since World War Z in 2013 was I this baffled by how well receive a movie got because what I saw was an unoriginal, cliche, formularic, predictable, and forgettable animated film. Whatever you do, DO NOT get me started on Pigeon FUCKING Touty if you want to save yourselves from me raging on why I LOATHE this abysmal excuse of a side character and why he's the worst thing about this movie) 9. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice [1.5/5 (D+)] (Most disappointing movie I've seen this year. DC Films, Warner Brothers, and Zack Snyder, YOU FUCKED IT UP) 8. Mike and Dave Need a Better Movie [1.5/5 (D+)] 7. Ice Age 5: Collision Failure [1/5 (D)] (Without question the most unnecessary film to come out this year. Fox for the loved of god, STOP forcing Blue Skys to make more Ice Age movies because everyone including the people working at Blue Skys are fed up with more pointless Ice Age movies ever since after Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs which was the LAST GOOD Ice Age film) 6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Please Don't Make Another One [1/5 (D)] 5. Gods of Laughably Bad Egypt [0.5/5 (D-)] (Out of all these awful movies I listed here, this might be the only one I kinda enjoyed due to how it was so amazingly horrendous that it ended up being a great comedy) 4. Cell [0.5/5 (D-)] 3. The Wild Life Bordem [0/5 (F)] 2. Nine Lives of Hell [0/5 (F)] 1. North of the FUCKING ABYSMAL North [0/5 (F)] (I'd never thought I'd see the day where an animated movie would be the worst movie of a certian year, but boy oh boy does this movie deserve that doozy of a dishonor. EVERYTHING from its story, writing, characters, animation, its obnoxious environmental message, humor, and everything else about this abomination filth of a movie is BEYOND ABYSMAL. Not only it is easily the worst movie and animated movie I've seen this year, it's quite possibly the worst animated movie I've ever seen) Dishonourable Mentions: Collateral Lies, Independence Day: Resurgence, Zoolander 2, Assassin's Creed, Trolls, and Ghostbusters
Here's mine 10. Allegiant 9. The Purge: Election Year (Which is fitting since Donald Trump won presidency) 8. Nine Lives 7. When The Bough Breaks 6. Max Steel 5. Blair Witch 4. Independence Day: Resurgence 3. Ice Age:Collision Curse 2. Gods of Egypt 1. NORM OF THE FUCKING NORTH!
Worst Movies I've seen in 2016: 1.) Ghostbusters 2.) Norm of the North 3.) The 5th Wave 4.) Independence Day: Resurgence 5.) Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice 6.) Assassin's Creed 7.) The Divergent Series: Allegiant 8.) Nine Lives 9.) The Purge: Election Year 10.) Gods of Egypt
Honorable Mentions: (Movies I saw, but didn't hate as much or even bothered to care) Ride Along 2 The Huntsman: Winter's War Ratchet & Clank Fifty Shades of Black Ice Age: Collision Course Zoolander 2 Warcraft Ben-Hur When the Bough Breaks Max Steel Collateral Beauty Inferno
Cinematic Platinum I will agree with you on Kung-Fu Panda 3 that I disagree on what he thought about that movie. But NOT Storks because I probably hate that movie as much as him
10- Sing 9- X-Men: Apocalyps 8- Ratchet and Clank 7- Alice though looking time (Glass) 6- Suicide Squad 5- Trolls 4- Batman v Superman 3- Storks 2- Ice Age: Collision Course 1- Polar Shit
As much as I enjoyed Kung Fu Panda 3, I feel like they missed a wonderful opportunity to bring back Tai Lung and Lord Shen as jade zombies. I mean Tai Lung should have been in the spirit realm, but was nowhere to be found. That was one of my biggest complaints with this movie. And you know the writers probably thought about bringing those two back, but for some weird reason didn't. Missed opportunity right there!
Hi BCG. I totally agree with you when you say that Norm of the North is the worst movie of the year! As a big fan of animated movies, I have to say that it is an insult to good animation, compelling stories, and like you said in your rant, the audience's intelligence! I will never forgive the people behind this movie for thinking that children will be entertained by ridiculous stories and for thinking that that is what animation is all about! Also, it is the first Rob Schneider movie I ever saw, and I can definitely see why he is such a hated actor! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING WHEN THEY MADE THIS GARBAGE?!!! HECK, WHY WAS IT EVEN MADE?!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡!!! Man, I am glad I got that off my chest before the new year started😓. Anyway, Happy New Year BCG and everyone else on RU-vid🎉🎉🎉! May 2017 bring everyone good blessings😊!
Norm of the North is getting 2 straight to Video/DVD sequels coming out in a year or two. I'm not joking about it, Lionsgate and Crest Animation Studios/Splash Entertainment announced that. Trust me. It says it on the Lionsgate Wikipedia.
The worst movie I saw in 2016 was Suicide Squad. I would never go see most of those eyesores that made this top ten list. Pretty sure as an animation fan Norm of the North aka Polar Shit would have burned my eyes out. Nice list, sorry you had to see those atrocities.
my list: 10.allegiant 9.nine lives 8.gods of Egypt 7.my big fat Greek wedding 2 6.Alice through the looking glass 5.the other side of the door 4.max steel 3.the wild life 2.norm of the north hm: Batman v superman middle school. 1.angry birds
why I hated these films: 10.(soo boring and nothing i liked about it) 9.(the first part were it shows RU-vid video's that was hilarious but all of Chris stuckmann's points are what I think about this film) 8.(the cgi parts were they turn into warrior"s and chadwick's performance are why I hated goe) 7.(very unfunny and uninteresting never watched the first one btw) 6.(very mediocre imo) 5.(very cringe worthy to think about) 4.(all of Chris's points on max steel) 3.(looks beautiful but no funnies or familiar actors at least norm had actors I know) 2.(knew it was going to be horrible) hm: -(some of the acting except eissenberg were good but I'm not a massive dc fan) -(felt okay but not gonna stop it from being good). 1.(was gonna be one of my anticipated may films of 2016 cause I was a fan of the games but ruined it with really mean spirited characters like chuck and judge peckinpah,3 scenes that aggravated me and waste of acting talent until we got Keegan m. key with storks, hannibal Burgess with the secret life of pets, bill hater with finding dory, kate McKinnon with finding dory and ghostbusters, and lbnl Jason sudeikis with masterminds(wasn't really my cup of tea but he was cool in the film and I liked how he got zack galifanakis out of jail at the end of the film but still the movie was not good)
Oh come on Tony 2016 wasn't that bad. The reason people hate it is cos a couple of celebrities they didn't know personally died, not even because of the numerous terrorist attacks that happened. Compared to year's like 1914 or 1939 or hell many other years 2016 was great. In fact we've advanced in terms of animal endangerment and space science Not only that but suicide rates, infant mortality and poverty rates have gone done and education rates are going up. And if you think this year sucked because trump won or brexit then please move on.
I disagree about "Suicide Squad." I went in with low expectations because so many reviewers I like hated it. I enjoyed it. It did it's job of introducing a cast of villains. I kind of liked Leto's Joker (it's his own take of the character, but it kind of felt like he was trying to use a little Ledger because how he talked was similar), but he wasn't necessary in the action scenes. I was expecting Boomerang to be like an evil Ant Man, but he had no purpose, no personality, and no presence. Katana and The Guy Who Can Climb Anything were rushed and randomly introduced. TGWCCA was only there to explode and Katana was a badass but had no presence. I enjoyed Harley Quinn and Deadshot.
Oh BTW Tony, did you know that on the Ice Age: Collision Course Blu-Ray, the actually has the first Ice Age packaged with it as well. Probably to help clean your mind of memories that this atrocity left in our heads.
BCG: Please Blue Sky, stop making the Ice Age movies and let the franchise die already, so you can start making new, original movies. Blue Sky: *laughs crazily* You're too late BCG! As we speak a sixth Ice Age is already in the works and then we're continue making them! There will be no end! And besides BCG we've got to have money! BCG: You monsters! Blue Sky: *laughs evilly* We will never stop making Ice Age movies! Never!
Heres mine 10. The Angry Birds Movie 9. Ice Age: Collision Course 8. Ghostbusters 7. Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice 6. Suicide Squad 5. Ratchet and Clank 4. Nine Lives 3. The Wild Life 2. Dirty Grandpa 1. Norm of the North
Too bad you missed Colleratel Beauty for your worse list. That movie was such a disappointment. Will Smith is getting no Oscars this year. Next time pick a better movie Will Smith.
Frankly, you can say that Storks was kind of an "appetizer" in Warner Bros case, with the Lego Batman movie the main course. That's the best way I could describe it.
Everyone's disagreeing with his opinions on Kung Fu Panda 3 and Storks. He does have some good points though. Honestly though, I thought they were both ok. That's just me though.
About Kung Fu Panda 3, I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s bad it just pales in comparison to the first two films because I loved the first two they’re pretty much the holy Grail of the KFP franchise but this film just didn’t have that much charm as the previous two did. I still give it a 6.8/10
Kung Fu Panda 3 and X-Men: Apocalypse ? What the f&#k ? Suicide Squad and BvS I wasn't really on the hype train for those movies, but they were not so bad that I would put them on a worst movie list, definetily not as a honorable mention.
I disagree with storks the scene where it shows different parents getting babies was very powerful showing a disabled couple a gay couple and single parents
Dishonorable Mentions: Morgan, The Fundamentals Of Caring, The Boy, Trolls, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Free State Of Jones, Demolition, I Saw The Light, The Forest, Rules Don’t Apply, The Secret Life Of Pets, Now You See Me 2, London Has Fallen, When The Bough Breaks, Office Christmas Party Top 15 Worst Films Of 2016: 1. Dirty Grandpa 2. The Brothers Grimsby 3. The Boss 4. Masterminds 5. Gods Of Egypt 6. Why Him? 7. Ride Along 2 8. The Darkness 9. Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates 10. How To Be Single 11. God’s Not Dead 2 12. Ben-Hur 13. The Angry Birds Movie 14. The Choice 15. Keeping Up With The Joneses
I disagree with your opinion on kung fu panda 3. I thought it was awesome & as cute as the previous ones. The rest of the list I agree whole heartedly. Happy new year
James PlaysGamez oh are you sure coz I thought since he said in his assasins Creed review that he didn't like it and it was on this list that dishonorable mentions were movies he thought were bad
Yes. Stanley Tucci and Max Von Sydow got Oscar nominations for The Lovely Bones and Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close, respectively, despite their films having rotten scores.
My Top 10 Just Missed: The Legend of Tarzan, Ride Along 2, The Do-Over, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies 10. Cafe Society 9. How to be Single 8. Keanu 7. Mother's Day 6. Zoolander 2 5. Allegiant 4.Alice Through the Looking Glass 3. Nine Lives 2. Gods of Egypt 1. Independence Day: Resurgence
pirtire 10 was boring as hell to me. I saw it with my dad and uncle and struggled to watch it. I left the theater and came back trying to be interested. It was one of the most boring films I've seen
I agree with you. I was excited to see the film when it came out because of the cast and the director but i was just sitting there trying not to sleep.
My list would be 1 norm of the north 2 ice age cullusion course 3 the wild life 4 when the bough breaks 5 nine lives 6 gods of Egypt 7 Jane got a gun 8 huntsman winter's war 9 ghostbusters 10 Warcraft Dis honorable mentions Trolls Zoolander 2 Alice through the looking glass The darkness Allegiant Dirty grandpa The 5th wave Max steel Rachet and clank Independents day reserjence Batman vs superman dawn of justice Ben hur Assassins creed
Movies: Reviews and rankings by Reese, Ice Age: Collision Course Is Bad, But It Is Nowhere Near As Bad As The Wild Life, Norm of the North, Storks, and Gods of Egypt.
I don't hate it like everyone else does but I can see why everyone else hated it the movie does have room for improvement. But for now DC needs to step it's game up if it wants to be as successful as Marvel.
Yay! S*tty movies! Here's my picks: 10. Independence Day: Resurgence 9. Ice Age: Collision Course 8. Assassin's Creed 7. The Divergent Series: Allegiant 6. The Mechanic: Resurrection 5. When the Bough Breaks 4. Gods of Egypt 3. Norm of the North 2. Shut In 1. Max Steel
Zac Ritner Yeah, it's awesome.. if by awesome you mean bland characters, a first half with nothing but exposition, no charm or charisma whatsoever and a script that's just plain dumb, then yeah! Resurgence was kickass!
Not to mention how badly Allegiant was so off book, I absolutely hate this film more than any other film based on a book!(If you haven't read the book, stop reading now. Spoiler- Tris dies in the book but not in the movie) I pretty much hated Allegiant from the moment I saw the trailer in a theater for I think it was "Into the Woods" or something like that. At least Insurgent had effort, but still was off book.
