Good job Lee! I love your caption at 1:58 So many people love our hobby and feel comfortable enough to stop and ask questions. It can be annoying when you are trying to make a video but they don't realize how disruptive it is or how many times you get stopped and questioned. I am retired and don't do videos so when people stop with questions for me, I rather enjoy it. I do a lot of water hunting in lakes (will be out early tomorrow morning) so don't get too many interruptions till I get back to shore. Good luck with your procedure and look forward to your next video.

Thanks for sharing. I love ppl to and the curiosity of children. I admire anyone that goes into lakes. Round me we have to worry about gators and flesh eating bacteria..LOL. Wish I could get past my fears. Great avenue to vacuum up the treasues!

Correct, bat grip. It holds up great in Florida sun and heat. I had it on my Nox 800 because Minelab harness has bungee cords and chafed the hand controller. I put it on Manticore because I like the grip, easy on the fingers and lets me personalize it.😝

Lee I watch your channel and enjoy all Detectorist that beach hunt cause that's what I love to do, for like the last 10 years I might add. I know you're in love with your manticore.. but I think you need to stop bashing The nox, making it sound like it's an inferior detector compared to your manticore. One thing you should consider is the majority of those detectorists out there are probably new and unexperienced... And who knows what they're swinging.. I go out there as well and see a ton of detectorists I walk right behind them or go around where they were.. and picking up finds that they walk right over using the same machine I am.... I believe experience comes into play.. for instance..a detectorists will hear what they think is an iron hit, skip it.. when really it's gold.. it's best to dig most everything no matter how good your detector is or how good of a detectorists you are...I had a whites PI machine that would go 3 ft into the the beach and could find anything ..there's no discrimination and it goes way deeper than the Manticore and has stronger sensitivity.. but even using that I still believe the nox does an awesome job.. I have found smaller than BB sized pieces of gold on the beach with the nox ..I've also dug over 16" with the nox for rings bracelets and junk etc.. so I just feel that your assumption that the Manticore is all that.. kind of disagree.. I see people swing in that XP Deus 2 .. and they're killing it.. I'm not going to buy one but it definitely is comparable to the Manticore.. I'm not saying which machine is better.. really I think it comes down to what you're comfortable with.. and if put time in on your machine and do your due diligence you can work the machine properly.. it's going to work great for you if you know how to listen to things how to swing it.. when to change your change your sensitivities. How to read the beach..there are so many factors to a successful hunt.. I hardly use the vdi I mostly go with sound then I'll check my vdi.. but even the vdi and the screen that tells you if it's round or odd-shaped is not a hundred percent correct,. I'm not beating up the Manticore here.. I think it's a great detector... But please consider the other factors besides the nox being inferior. G.L h.h🏴‍☠️

It is not my intention to bash the Nox. My intention was targeted towards the best machine fit for me. My Nox is 6 years old, I can not believe in 7 years yhere have not been movement in the technology advancements. For me, I believe there have been advancements. I am guilty of desiring these advancements as tools. I hold 7 patents, both utility and design for smart fishing light, been manufacturing it since 2016. Before my patent lights were used using low quality LED strips starting 2009. In 2023, you can still cat fish and shrimp using the most basic light source (single mode on/off). My point is that with my 2023 smart light, I can manipulate the biologicals using multiple frequencies. It is a 7 mode light driven by a chip. What light do you think this Captain deploys? My choice of a 2023 higher tech machine in metal detecting vs a 2017 is no different. Yes, I can't catch shrimp with either one 2016 vs. 2023. Difference being 2023, I can work smarter and raise productivity in less time. My friend, I am a hunter. My love of fishing transfers to the beach as a dirt hunter. I lean into science vs luck. I am in a minority by choice. Everyone needs to make the right choice for them. That is my point of view of both myself and as a content creator.

Sorry about typos, I can catch shrimp with an antiquated single mode light or a smart light 7 mode light. The 2023 light allows me battle changing conditions, increase production in less time.

@@HuntressChannel maybe you ought to get together with minelab and make a machine that finds 🦐🦐🦐🦐 shrimp 😂😆🤣😅... Reading your response.. I believe the reason no technology happened for metal detectors in that period of time.. is because all the companies were busy trying to catch up and figure out how to be as good as the equinox.. and they finally did.. and that's why we see all the metal detector companies out there releasing so many new detectors.. and updates ..... well Lee.. there's only one thing left to do.... put that Manticore to work so we can see all your finds ∆ g.l h.h🏴‍☠️

It's all good. Google, " Capt Lee Noga". I invented, won patents and manufacture a smart light that does 7 frequencies for which I can manipulate shrimp into nets. That count as a machine? Let me say this Ineed you, go to tomdankowski.com message board, met this engineer he was on manticore development team, he hunts by science and taught me....AND he is the King of the Nox users and he swings manticore among a slew of machines he has built. I do enjoy talking with you, I love your passion and spirit.❤️

He said the Manticore is a generation/10 years beyond the Nox, don't know what Nox machines he meant...read his boards, this is where you learn , it's a brain think tank and its great

Hi Randy, you could not pay me to notch out a target. It's not inexperience, it's a personal choice 👍

@@HuntressChannel very true. It does pay to dig about 95% of targets when on a beach. Unless it is a heavy iron infested beach. Hope you get some gold finds.

Your the best...tourism is down since we got destroyed by the fall hurricanes...hitting silver in vids to come, the local generations enjoying beach don't even wear nice jewels. Gonna take years to rebuild layers of treasures we lost in the coastal erosion. But, Gonna focus on high risk, high reward hunting. Thanks for chatting, I love talking with ya.

Sry to say it but it you think you found that BIG earring because the Nox 600 700 800 900 ect. went over it and wouldn't detect it and the Mantacore would your fooling yourself.. Its not always the machine its has alot to do with the operator... Settings,search patterens,ground coverage,audio and many more things
@HuntressChannel
@HuntressChannel Год назад
Exactly. Machine is 1/3 of equation. When I comment in the moment it's not necessarily because of that target. If I had 20 minutes I could bring context. I started with Ctx 3030 which I still enjoy, added Nox, added the manticore...it was personal choice FOR ME. I am science based to put me on targets based on target density stratification. I am sorry folks feel I am trying to be some thirsty youtube influencer.....Luck plays a small role in my hunt...luck is what target turns out to be....skill is hitting target..Difference between luck and skill is consistency. So, my point is I own several machines and FOR ME, the manticore gives me more complimenting my style of hunting.
