Sometimes skape you need to read what comes up on screen as with the car delivery job it actually said to deliver 10 cars and drive a certain distance to achieve the stars And again the screen has your fuel in the tacho bottom right cnr as well as temp gauge

Tips: For most cars, you want to turn off the ESC to get better control. Also, the Roamer Police SUV seems to work best in 4WD mode. You can change these things by clicking on the little circle buttons beside the tachometer.

you unlock the setting to use your own car in races after getting a few stars in it. you can also see a bigger list of cars to buy at the computer in the garage

In my beam experience, I believe the hirochi sunburst is meant to be a Subaru Impreza; there is a sunburst model in the game that directly resembles a WRX with the hood scoop and everything with a turbocharged 4 cylinder engine

Love it! I havnt had a chance to try it out yet, but my kids have been....seems like the parts replacing etc is a bigger/better version of revhead and apex combined

BeamNG has been one of my favorite games since release. It would be nice to see similar damage system show up in more racing games. It was darn well worth the wait for career mode. I already know that the racing career is going to be expanded. All I want now is a Burnout mode with slow motion crashes and this one a big one, but mild terrain deformation on sand, dirt, mud and snow. Seeing tire tracks and dents in the dirt/sand after a rollover would be beautifully insane.

I cant wait until they polish out the modification menu, especially in the wheel department. That is my main gripe with beamng, trying to dwap wheels is a pain, and it would be nice to have the wheels separated by either the brand or the sizes.

during the drifting section the exterior view is harder because the camera isn't staying centred to the rear of the car so its hard to get an idea of whether the car is starting to spin out or not

On the drift challenge, you can rack up big scores using the obstacles inside the circle to make your own track of sorts. More combos/transitions, better score. I'd definitely like to see your police chases in multiplayer! Beam is a bit of a jack of all game, or has been between patches. The mini-missions in previous updates helps, but they're short on filler when the game becomes more of a crash simulator with some fun parts swapping in between. Personally I'm okay with using a pre-supplied car at first while you learn the ropes to avoid tearing up your personal fleet. Easy money! I can't speak for the rest of the world, but US police in metro areas have largely switched to SUVs for two primary reasons. One, all the SUVs in traffic makes police cars a dangerous game in collisions, but on top of that, there's a lot more gear to lug round, where having a storage system in an SUV is much easier to accommodate. Back in my day, the Crown Vics were rather prized for their toughness, even though they were pig slow. When the first gen Chargers started replacing them, they felt like they were made out of glass by comparison. We had one snap the tie rods the first week it was in service with a whole 33 miles on the odometer. Wasn't even abused, it barely made two patrols and I got called over to assist. The left wheel was pointed left, and the right was pointed right, hard up against the curb. Man they sucked.

On the topic of police chases in game, theres a youtuber called failrace and he does a monthly "survive the hunt" on gta 5 where he blends in and do tasks all while not being caught. It seems super super popular and id love to see you try something like that one day in the future!

Usually in racing or skill challenges, after you complete it once and just gain one star, you can then replay it with your own car.

You can see all cars for sale from the garage. Used, new, and private sale. You can either drive there or take a taxi. There’s way more options to buy in there

I feel like a unique feature they could add would be a salvage yard or ability to buy wrecked vehicles for cheap and fix them and salvage them etc

Grate video hope to see more also after doing a few of the work tasks you will start to unlock the tasks where you actually drive a semi with a trailer and they are quite a challenge in my experience doing them.

My friend has an old 70s cordoba and it most definitely handles like an anvil on shopping cart wheels but man does it float going down the road. Personal luxury coupes were a whole different breed of car. I've always wanted a Lincoln mark IV for no reason other than to drive it on a mountain road as if it could actually handle 😂 also u absolutely love the new beams career vids

When you pull up events on the map, look on the left side of the screen. Whenever you select a place on the map with a number, it'll show extra events and buildings that are on the same marker that you can select.

BeamNG devs should be watching these videos, it's pretty much free beta testing

You can buy cars from your garage aswell, the top button on the left (you hit it instead of purchase parts at one point). Also when it comes to old cars that handle like boats my dad has a 57 bel air (sedan , 283 factory dual quad car) that also came optioned with the 6 ply ‘utility’ springs... that thing lunges when you hit the breaks but somehow doesn’t really slow down and cornering at any speed makes you think the door handles are going to hit the floor... brilliantly stupid though. Is there any chance you could show the Galaxy at some point? I’ve heard you mention it before and always been curious
