Hey guys! This is my first official RU-vid video and I just wanted to introduce you all to my dragons and show you my daily feeding routine. I hope you enjoy the video! Please like and subscribe! Thanks! See you all in the next video! :)
Wow, I love that all of your dragons are pets, and they are living their best lives! I absolutely love your set up. And you have some gorgeous dragons if you ever did want to breed. But I really respect you! Keep up the great work, and spoiling these sweet lizards! Just wow.
That was a GREAT first 'official' video! Not too long at all. Love your Beardies. Watching them all chow down was fun, especially Redman (hilariously enthusiastic eating style). Your set up is beautiful & so efficient. Looking forward to next time.
I’m not sure how I feel about it. I grew up out at Dugway Proving Grounds in the late 50’s early 60’s, and we had lots of lizards but I don’t remember any “fancy” ones. It was interesting, though. We sure had plenty of poisonous snakes!! We had large tarantulas that got made into pets, but not by me!! I am looking forward to seeing your snakes. Keep up the good work!!!
Great first video! About to buy my daughter a beaded dragon next month for her birthday and im trying to get as much knowledge as i can. Great looking setup! They look happy and healthy!
I have 6 Leopard geckos which are my fav kind of reptile to keep and its nice to see someone else who has all one species! Amazing set up and beautiful lizards
This was the best. I love every one of your dragons Sir. I have always wanted a white zero. Wife thinks my Dunner is enough. Think a red leather back like yours would be epic as well. Great video again.
Great setup. You seem very responsible with them they all seem healthy. Glad you chose not to breed, indeed true that “just cause I want to” is not a reason to try it. Cool variety of morphs, love that leatherback zero
I just got a beardie 2 months ago and I’m so inlove with him that he’ll lay by my ear and I just fall asleep feeling his little stomach breathing and he makes these little licking sounds lol
Holy crap man these are some sick enclosures. I just got a beardy last week from Petsmart and I've had to learn a LOT in a short time. He started shedding today and well, he's not dead so I must be doing something right lol. I can only dream of having an enclosure like these for him! Also your beardies are beautiful and the video was excellent!
@@nightinggale6470 Yeah I had no idea breeders were a thing. In fact, shortly after purchasing mine from petsmart, we found a georgia based breeder that breeds them. But honestly I'm just glad I could rescue him from that shitty environment tbh.
Thanks for the guided tour! I enjoyed meeting your lizards Did I hear right? Do you have 2 Betty Whites? They are all adorable! I did like and subscribe. I’m wishing you luck with you channel’
I have 8 zen enclosures with same mats and similar setup, it would take me 4 hours to clean everything but since I bought kraft paper to set on top of the mats I can replace kraft paper and disinfect everything in about 45 min. just ordered 3 more lol!
Yeah, I think they’re zen mats. Not a suitable substrate for bearded dragons. Burrowing enrichment is extremely beneficial for them, so a deep layer of a soil/sand/clay mix is best.
@@PossessedGravy had one years ago named Susan . I’m in south Florida so my garage is always like 85 degrees is that good. He will need what else that slate you bought And heat lamp? What else?
Interesting way for basking spots. Mine on one of those seagrass hammocks. I'm a little concerned that it's not hold the temperature on that too well even though it's still hot, just not under the belly. Do you have any thoughts on that. Thanks. Great video and beautiful lizards.
Your dragons are beautiful, and the set up you have.... you definitely put some seriously money into doing that well. And I agree with you, as much as I love dragons, I wouldn't breed. There are so many dragons already that need better homes, I just don't want to add to that. I agree with the cleanup, I have vynyl shelf liner and I can spray that and wipe, but I put paper towels in there if I think it might be a poop day, lol I love the vacuum idea, I'm currently using a little wisk broom, but my doors don't go all the way down like yours, so a vacuum might be tricky. This is great, I hope your channel continues to grow!!
Hey, do you have issues with humidity levels with the Zen Habitat Terraniums? I was going to get one but I opted for a 75 gallon aquarium instead. I have a red morph bear die named Lamar< I just got him in February…I love him to pieces already! I don’t know how you have time for all of yours, but I commend your dedication!!
Arcadia is the best brand for UVB, zoo med is the second best. A basking spot surface temperature of 107-113F is best during the day (as measured by a temperature gun) :)
Investing in a tri-pod might be wise. Looks great. Hope your channel grows! I ended up here because I was browsing what others use for their substrate. You got some nice looking mats, but I think I am going to try and find some decent tile at my local hardware store instead. Currently have reptile mat stuff that came with the enclosure and its garbage.
@@PossessedGravy my future plans involve a new enclosure and a bioactive setup, but while I save money for that I got some stone tile. It's backsplash for kitchens. My guy loves it, and keeps his nails trimmed too!
@@alexdisler6340 Where these guys are local too its actually mostly clay, not sand. Sand just gets all up in their shit and messes them up. its literally one of the basics of bearded dragon care....
@@Piccillo7 sure sure Google where they live and think again 2nd a fcking mat out of plastic Or whatever is for 100% not the Terrain of a savanna Or semi-dessert
Dude I love the setups I been thinking about getting the zen habitats for my snakes and beardies do they just stack simple with nothing needed to connect them?
That's a really nice lizard room you have! I like how all of their setups are identical and enjoyed watching this video. It wasn't boring at all it was very cool seeing all of your beardies! I have a couple of questions though if that's okay. You mentioned that you give them two roaches every other day, what is the reason for that? Is it due to their age and diet? I am curious because of my beardy and I am not sure if/when I should transition to that. The online resources say conflicting things so I am not sure what to do. My second question is what type of substrate is that? Do you have the link for it? I saw you mentioned using paper towel in some but had the Zen mat but is that the same as the reptile carpet? (Also looking for a different substrate to use for my little buddy) Awesome video again, excited to see more content!!
beautiful setup and nice job on your first youtube vid. i subscribed to see more! I am looking into a zen habitat for my 2nd bearded dragon. are you happy with enclosure?
I was watching this with my Beardie and he huffed and puffed when he seen the Beardies and bobbed his head and when he seen the food he went nuts trying to eat my screen.
Do you go to the reptile expo? I got mines from petco\petsmart as well. But the next set I want to get I’m definitely not getting them from local store chains.
Super dope! Will you breed?? Wish I could ask you a bunch of questions. I have a bearded dragon, raised him from a baby and had him for about a year or more now. I have many questions smh. Love your enclosures! My dream room would be set up like yours.
