I just started Tenkara fishing, I am a backpacker and the beartooth is in my sights for my next purchase. I have a trip up at wind rivers, WY and I am hoping it would handle some of the bigger trout out there.
Drew, I'm sorry to say that the level of disappointment in your company is almost greater than my love of fishing. I spent hours researching your products, the style and watching others success. I was so excited to have chosen to purchase a Beartooth model from you and in my excitement I even bought 3 different fly kits from you at another 79.00 each. Last night I get home to find it has arrived, quick shipping, thank you but unfortunately as I unpacked it all and inspected I found the the last section was stuck inside the second to last section , nothing sticking out of either end but I can hear it inside, it won't come out, I figured no huge deal I saw they have excellent customer service. I called first thing in the morning, no answer so I emailed them . I've barely taken out of the box, not even out of the house and their excellent customer service idea is that I pay to send it back to them for repair or I can buy out of my pocket another new section! This is unacceptable! Now I will not only return it all for a refund but I will also review this in every place I can find and I work in the recreational trailer field in some of the greatest Colorado fishing area ever, I work with a lot of guides all the way to people just trying to enjoy the area, I'll spread the word of the quality of this product as well as the quality of customer service. The less people effected by your paid for good reviews the better.
