Fun fact for all those noting that Terrorsaur is very similar to Starscream: The original plan for Starscream's cameo was for him to take over Terrorsaur, not Waspinator... except they figured no one would be able to tell the difference.
Even when I first saw this episode I thought it would actually make more sense for terrorsaur to get possessed by starscream instead of waspinator. Not just because terrorsaur is kind of the starscream of the group but because they both match each other in terms of character and toys because they both have that sort of thing where their wings point up when they're in robot mode.
I love how Megatron did nothing to avoid that flying kick from Dinobot, like Dinobot made it clear he was gonna kick him, there's like a few seconds of him just flying, and yet he did nothing.
8:12 I like how 3 Beast Wars equivilants to StarScream are arguing. Terrorsaur who was clearly based on him. Tarantulas who had a similar motive as him. And Waspinator who was literally posessed by him at one point.
You've clearly never seen the Michael Dobson-voiced Starscream from the Unicron Trilogy in action, or else you wouldn't be comparing him to these three idiots. That dude was a badass.
@@Balorak146 I have. What do you mean by "ive clearly never seen it" Armada was cool but its hardly an accurate representation to the original Starscream who WAS a complete idiot, which Beast Wars was a direct continuation to. I can agree with the rest of what you said but the first part was completely uncalled for and doesnt make any sense to what I was talking about.
This show is still so much fun. I'm 31, this came out when I was 6. I have the complete series on dvd. The characters, voice talent, stories, humour, music, etc, etc was just amazing. I still watch it today.
Me too. Loved this back in 1999,2000. I had the whole series on VHS. The Masterpiece figures really pulled me back into it after all these years got all of them so far. They need to release more, its been almost two whole years since Tigatron.
@@marchull1396 man those Masterpiece Beast Wars figures look amazing! The accuracy and engineering for those is crazy. I mean the G1 figures are tough enough, but when you factor in the beast forms, that's wild how close to the cartoon they are.
@@alifwibisono1000 Maybe he had a hard time believing that what he was seeing was real - if I saw Dinobot suddenly freeze-framing towards me like that, I'd need a second to process how that was even possible lmao
You know it's funny that Beast Wars was the first Transformers series where someone nearly offlined Megatron only damaged him enough to go into stasis lock the only mistake Terrorsaur made in this episode is if he wanted to destroy Megatron make sure he's destroyed by extinguishing his spark just don't stand there gloating and laughing about it while 2 of Megatron's most loyal warriors would work on restoring him later and at the end of this episode that is exactly what happened and when Megatron came walking out with Scorpinok and Waspinator following behind him and the look on that idiot's face was priceless.
The only other time Beast Megatron actually went offline was in the grand finale of _Beast Machines._ Really. He’s only ever been restrained or slowed down in the meantime.
That scene is still one of my all time favorites from Beast Wars. No dialogue, no music, just a huge pulsating red flashing turret and two decepticons who knows they about to get fucked.
Waspinator's first ever great suffering moment (and also the first showcase of Rhinox's chainguns) at 0:34 will never ever get old. Also, poor Terrorsaur's breakdown at 8:36.
Notably, that was the only time Megatron actually got destroyed in the series. The Maximals only ever restrained him or forced him to retreat. If not for Scorponok and Waspinator, his grand conquest would've ended right then and there.
Scorponok is the most loyal Predacon in the entire series next to Waspinator. Then again, Waspinator gets the shaft for taking the role of the comic relief. Regardless, Scorponok had too early of a demise.
@@HenryDube72three equivalents of Starscream actually Terrosaur is obviously based on him (same voice actor in the show too) Tarantulas has a similar motive to him Waspinator had been possessed by Starscream himself at one point Stolen comment I know but still
Honestly, if I was in a similar situation, I'd feel almost the exact same way. But I don't quit easily; my armor is near indestructible. I enjoy serving the Decepticons.
My first Transformers was Animated along with the first two movies. Eventually I stumbled across other series such as the Unicron Trilogy, Robots In Disguise 2001, and yes, Beast Wars. Eventually I watched every series and film up to Earthspark, and soon, Rise of the Beasts will be added to my collection.
Ok, I Love Dinobot and all, but when that seed got stuck on the back of his neck and he started to freak out, I have to say, he COMPLETELY blew his own image. And I don't usually say things like that about him since he's my favorite, so that was really saying something
Beast Wars introduced me to the Transformers franchise when I was in elementary school. Had Transformers toys of Beast Wars Megatron, Transformers Robots in Disguise Megatron and Galvatron, Optimus Prime and Ultramagnis and Transformers Armada Megatron, Optimus Prime, Sideways, Starscream and Megatron.
Megaton during a predicon job interview: (Megatron sitting at a chair at a desk reading my resume, while on the opposite end) Megaton: So, you to be a predicon and join my crew, yes? Me: That’s right. I saw your minions wanted ad online, sir Megatron: And tell me why you want to be a predicon, yes. Me: Because I’m interested trying new experiences and seems like the perfect job for that. Megatron: (laughing) Applied everywhere and no one else will hire you, yes? Me: (I sign) Not one person gave me a chance, Megatron: Well let me tell you to qualifications two being a predicon, yes. One you have to be a robot. Me: I can be turned into a cyborg. Megatron: And two you need to want to destroy the Maximals and humanity. Me: Oh, we’ll, I’m not sure about that one, I like humanity. Even though, they treat me like crap… (I start to get up from the chair, pick it up and begin smashing to pieces against the desk) Me: *especially when they keep rejecting from every single time I apply for one! They don’t get that I skills to the job just fine, but no they just reject always! And I’m sick of it! I’M! SICK! OF!… (Then I realize what I’m doing and see a shocked Megatron staring at me) Me: (nervous chuckle) I’m just going to leave now. (I start walking towards the door) I’m so sorry about the damages to chair and desk. I… Megatron: *YOU’RE HIRED! YES!* ( _Megatron gets up out of his and walks up to me then excitedly shakes my hand_ ) Megatron: Welcome the predicons my boy, Yes! You start first thing tomorrow morning, *YYEEEESSSS!* Me: Thank you, boss.
Idk why but as a kid I vividly remember the episode where that weed spits the spike ball on the raptors back n he couldnt get it and it was this whole learning process for him.
He did...when optimus was trapped in that big alien ship, megatron had scorpinok use a biological sting to make a hole in it because weapons had no effect
"Megatron! TERRORIZE!!" This was the first Transformers I was exposed to so it'll always be the original one to me. I just wasn't impressed when I learned they were originally land vehicles.
Yeah but that was only because of Optimus throwing himself and Megatron into Cybertron's organic core not by one of his own men like Terrorsaur who must've descended from Starscream who also hated Megatron just like Terrorsaur did.
