I really want my friends to watch Beastars, but the current trailer just wasn't cutting it. I made one specifically designed for an English-speaking audience

About the RE:CONTEXT project: It's simple really-convince people to explore new content. I started this experiment because there are two categories that are exceedingly difficult to recommend to people: kids shows and anime. Not everything featured will fall into that list, but a fair amount. There are so many movies and shows that don't get the previews they deserve. RE:CONTEXT is about packaging those movies/shows in interesting (possibly controversial) ways to hopefully be something you can proudly tell others, "yeah, I watch this"

Hey everyone! This video is probably not gonna do that great, but like... progress, you know? Want to keep posting as much as I can and I'm super excited about this one. I'm dedicating it to my sister who is not particularly fond of anime with the hopes that an English, American-style trailer might help to convince her. Anyways, next week (hopefully then) will be Tron: Uprising-my favorite concept yet!

This is a MAJOR improvement over the official Netflix trailers; if you find a way to shop it around you could break into the animation sector easily (sounds niche, but the cartoon market is exploding with talent and needs a wider, more public adult reach). At least put it in your portfolio as an example of what you can do for emerging series; you could spark a mainstream animation renaissance in the West that expands beyond Adult Swim, Crunchyroll, etc. Animated series with mature topics and stories could be a thing discussed on morning talk shows or in People magazine. All it takes is a spark, and you have it.
