Make a plan of multiple actions with multiple soring opportunities. One beat attack is good, but having the option of being able to overwhelm your opponent and make them believe every feint or beat is priceless.
no, when executed on opponents step forward they wont even have the time to realize that they were hit. Similarly to how you can staple someone's foot to the floor without them even reacting to it
@@HowtoFencingbyYarikandTim Obviously I had to omit going to a club to do it because of the pandemic. I’m still waiting if cases drop exponentially in my country. I’m hoping to join a new club in Newcastle and I REALLY, REALLY BADLY wanna be proven wrong but I think fencing’s gonna cease to exist in my region of my country! :( You KNOW how sheepish we English can be! Almost everyone likes football/soccer so much! And you CAN rightfully argue that it’s kinda double standards why they don’t wanna even THINK of sparing a though for fencing! 😤 Yes! Fencing gear is very expensive! I admit that! And all the expenses wanting get coached and enter competitions are expensive too! But being a diehard dedicated football fan is arguably more expensive! Over £500 for a season ticket, £50 for a football top and the cost of traveling and the price of subscription if you wanna watch it on T.V and yes! Even more expenses if you wanna join a football club and get trained by a fully qualified coach unless I can hope and assume your town or city’s local council will pay it for you! Oh yeah! More evidence fencing’s dying out in the North East of England! All those 10 years I’ve been fencing, plenty of clubs I’ve gone to have all had to close down because they couldn’t get enough members! :(
@@mrwizzardknight brother I completely understand you...we basically live in similar countries, Canada is all about their hockey and skiing....which is also WAY more expensive than fencing...and kids in "those" sports are competing to become best in the city while we fencers compete to be the best in the world.... But that's the nature of our sport. What has worked for me personally is training kids well enough so they can get a scholarship to american universities...this tactic works to make sure fencing doesnt die!

What do you think of my this “other”idea of mine to try and promote fencing and reduce knife crime at the same time? Basically the message is, it’s obviously a very bad idea to stab someone with a knife out of frustration but it’s not a bad idea taking your frustration out that person bugging you in fencing instead? :) Just as long as it’s you know? Supervised and controlled?! XD Doesn’t boxing sort of do that thing as well? And rather than making all those criminals and ex criminals do it address this bizarre message of mine to kids so they don’t get into crime in the first place?
