‘If this doesn’t work, how long can it take me to cook a steak?’ 3:20 ‘If it works, it works! If it doesn’t...I’ll make a steak.’ 7:35 *Great minds think alike!*
There was beef, and Jamie... didn’t use it? I’m so confused. What’s happening?! (Thank goodness he used bourbon or I would’ve started questioning everything).
It was bens back up plan too. I was kind of hoping Bens wouldnt work so he'd make a steak and then the two dishes would be steak and cookies and he'd be like "obviously the steak is jaime."
This went absolutely nothing like how I thought it would, and I love it. Hahaha. Also, James's stare is RUTHLESS. I couldn't even keep eye contact through my screen without crumbling under the pressure he was putting on Jamie.
I just tried to determine what his eye colour is. My mum is a red head and trust me, James stare is nothing compared to her, nor his temper or lack of it 🤣
@@TheEberdz either that or brown. I actually looked up common eye colour for ppl with red hair and apparently blue is the least common. Which surprised me, since I have 3 in my family (mom, sister-in-law and niece) with natural red hair and really blue eyes. So I learnt something new today
Oh my god... The panic, the jitters, the frustrations, the facial expressions on James, Jamie spinning like a top and destroying the kitchen, the laughter.... THIS ONE HAS IT ALL!!! XD
If you screw up in Pass It On, someone else after you can fix it, and you have the benefit of the doubt that you didn't know what to do with what came before.
Jamie mentioned how he hated the Pass It On videos - but that's how I was introduced to you guys! Thanks for doing uncomfortable things to hook us in :) Sundays and Wednesdays are much happier with Sorted. Cheers!
When Jamie made that baby dinosaur noise in response to James staring at him my life was complete. I finally found someone as stressed as me when under pressure who responds with dinosaur noises.
Legit impressed with Jamie. Didn't expect him to go that direction as I think baking isn't exactly in his wheelhouse. the runny seedy sugar water being poured on the mat though? made me chortle.
I love how both Jamie and Ben utterly screw things up, and the issuing comedy! Barry and James losing it while watching is just the cherry on top of the sundae. One of your best videos in ages, guys!
Keep raising the bar lads! Make a head to head to head battle, but one of the normals gets swapped out with a chef! The other chef judges, but also has to guess which is the chefs dish. Make it happen, Mike!
Everyone and their mother: baking is a science Jamie: You can't tell me what to do, dry and wet ingredients? What are thoooose? I'll bake flour and eggs and YOU'LL LIKE IT
I'm so glad I stumble onto your channel, the warmth from all the lads because they are friends is genuine, just like rhett and link, love the video's so much and are helping though a difficult time x
Mike for the most diplomatic food judge ever. I wanted to see someone channel a little Gordon Ramsay (Hell's Kitchen version), because those two dishes didn't seem up to usual Sorted standards. Funny video, great way to showcase food combos, and I learned a lot. Thanks!
Pleaseeeeeeeeee repeat this exact same challenge with Ben and Jamie and have Mike taste test it again! And we want to see Barry and James hilarious reactions too! Omg this was so much fun to watch! Sorted you guys are phenomenal ❤️🥂🤗
@@bdavis7801 I love that I don't cook all that fancy but I have watched so many cooking videos that I hate this exact thought. Me- munching down on eggs on toast judging them for "not cooking to my standards" I'm a hypocrite
@@bdavis7801 I thought similarly! I wanted him to make a rub with the coffee, cardamom, orange and chili. I think it would've been great! It's totally what I expected him to do and then he made cookies! Lol
I feel like it's unfair to leave jamie without any help especially whenever there are obvious moments where being colorblind affects the dish. The least James could have done is told Jamie when it hit an amber point.
If something is completely clear, a colorblind person will be able to see when it becomes less clear. Also if something white becomes darker. I think Jamie just messed up and they were making a joke
The intensity with which James stared into the deepest parts of Jamie whilst a caramel was a brewing, makes me certain James could destroy nations unblinkingly. Super glad he decided to use his powers for good!
The James Barry combo suddenly reminded me of the profiterole episode where Jamie and Mike were wearing the electric shockers and James and Barry were shocking them. Reinforces that frankly, James and Barry together create some magical chemistry. Barry's chaotic nature brings out James' shadiness and sassiness like no other. #jarry
Pass it On and Beat the Chef are my favorite series and they bring me such joy every time there's a new one. Great job to both Jamie and Ben, and now I really need to get some pumpkin seed oil to start experimenting with.
It’s funny you guys stress over these videos the most but these are my favourites. I love the content and all of your personalities a lot. Keep up the good work 😘
You should have Jamie talk more about how his colorblindness does or does not effect his cooking. That would be interesting (in a real way, not in a Mike way) to hear about. I love sorted food. I can’t wait to see what you do next.
The change in Barry’s voice right as he starts to lose it was fantastic. I’m trying to laugh silently while eating lunch at work and failing. Ben’s dad joke: favorite so far.
