I think it's fine, you're supposed to use serpent hunter regardless of what build you have. The fight also likely wouldn't be that interesting since you'd have to be so close.

Good vid! Wouldn’t recommend using Rusty as a tier list tho, his points contradict themselves like for Rykards Sword (179 I think due to fire damage) and Vykes War Spear (Due to fire damage and madness.
I'm pretty sure that's bc vykes war spear does a subsect of fire damage that's different and scales different to the blasphemous blade, but sometimes application matter too idk it gets weird when there's 800 weapons
@@ankeethr.9514 It was also considering PvP, which meant that Madness was a bigger factor, but he did eventually consider Mohgs Spear to be the best in the game.

@creamofthecrop6743 100%! There's honestly loads of places you can go to get it, I just wanted to settle on one for the map and progression of the video. Godrick's castle just ended up fitting the storyline better as it provided me the opportunity to HAVE to fight at least one boss with the crossbow but you're definitely right!

Nah nothin too crazy haha, using an xbox controller I replace basic attack (RB) to X and heavy attack (RT) to Y. So X becomes RB and Y becomes RT! Hope that helps! Appreciate the watch fr!
Saying square off is too good and then taking golden vow instead is the same as saying my mercedes is too good so now I got a bmw instead. And then switching to hoarfrost stomp XD those are all in top 10 best ash of war for straightswords if not top 10 overall. Not saying it makes the run invalid or anything but its funny how he says one is too good only to switch to some others that are just as good.

Hate to say but varrè's bouquet is the worst weapon. It literally has half the ar as the normal torch with an arcane build. I also don't think the bleed build up can be increased. You can't infuse it. The only way to increase its damage is buffs. At least you can infuse the weathered straight sword. If I am incorrect, feel free to correct me.
To be completely honest, when I had thought of the idea my mind immediately went the Bouquet as well, but I wanted to validate the reasoning with a well viewed tier list, for viewers to be able to refer to it! But this is valid fosure, I definitely agree that weapon is BAD lmao!! Appreciate the comment!
There are definitely other weapons you could have used that are wayyy worse than weathered straight sword. Eclipse shotel, eleonora's poleblade and sword of night and flame to name 3. Still a very entertaining video though, nice work.

Eclipse Shotel is definitely the worst there and is fosure a good recommendation in terms of worst weapons, but I've found both the Poleblade and Sword of Night and Flame to be pretty good. There's no way that weapon is the worst though. Should've used like an estoc without an aow because the straight sword moveset with innate square off is strong
Shoulda used raptors of the mist ash of war, that thing seems so good but is dog shit. It needs more I frames as it currently has the same I frames as a heavy roll, Blood hound step or quick step is just a better ash of war then it is and they both arent that good as the dodge roll is already a button that does the same thing

What's the point of changing the weapon's ash of war to make the run harder? It's the art it comes with, so it's the art the weapon was judged with i'd imagine. If it's supposedly the "worst weapon in the game" according to some dude, then it should be bad enough, why're we actively trying to make it worse? At that point, I dunno why you even upgraded it. Use it with base damage then. And you're inflicting frost. I just dont get the logic. Taking advantage of all these other things, but ehhhh this ash of war's gonna make it too easy. The answer to the question was always going to be yes anyway, it's just a matter of the player's ability.
Completely understand where you're coming from! Honestly, it's literally a skill issue, this run would have taken 10x the time if I wasn't able to upgrade, because I'm nowhere near the skill level of someone like Gino, but it was fun either way!! The more runs I do, the tougher they'll get, because I'll have more reps! Appreciate the watch tho fr!
@@aadamjaveedkhan I really don't get the devs' thought processes when binding the attacks to X and Y or Square and Triangle. If you want to shoot, you'll be pulling a trigger, and shooting is attacking, ergo it makes more sense to have the triggers as attack
so how do we know you did the whole fights legit? For all we know you could have cheesed them with good weapons for most of the fight, then used your weathered sword to finish em. And the way you edit your videos, we only see you kill the boss. Not do the whole fight.
Valid ong, I didn't want to include the fights strictly for the duration of the video, the video was already long by my standards and it just didn't fit what I wanted to do BUT you are fosure right, I'll think around ways to make sure I accommodate things like this in the future! Appreciate it!
@aadamjaveedkhan I enjoy Rusty too. Many of the videos he makes are fact or comedy, which is one of those, but hey, any weapon can beat the game. All that matters is how you want to fight, as long as you have fun and a good video. And in the video, he put the torch higher than the sword; it was bit funny not going to lie.
