Uhuru has completely changed the face of our infrastructure. Nairobi expressway, expansion on kenol marua road, lamu port, expansion of bypasses amongst many more are amazing. Kenya appears ready for takeoff. Proud to be a Kenyan.

I think where they put the flowers was a good idea, so long as they are able to survive. I am hoping there will be a lot of trees planted somewhere along Mombasa Road and Uhuru highway. Trees usually involve less maintenance.

Good, sincere effort. Any greening of a project is welcome, especially when it's incorporated into the work at the planning stage and not later as an afterthought, aimed at appeasing environmentalists. Hope they'll consider more hardier plant species that will withstand the buffeting and pollution of the passing vehicle traffic. Highways are never friendly to many plants, even trees.

Indeed 'Beautification and FINAL TOUCHES of Nairobi Expressway-Unbelievable' with this reminder that it has been done thank to a Chinese cooperation. We must inculcate to ourselves the necessity to acknowledge and to be grateful to anything others come to make possible in Africa. Therefore as we celebrate the beautification and we say unbelievable, we have the moral obligation to mention those who help in one way or another the achievement of what we are appreciating. Our prayers raise from the earth and are heard in the heavens, thus we can believe even the little good others do to us are signs of God's answers to our prayers. Therefore if we are thankful, if we acknowledge to those who do it to us, we are by the way thankful to God and we acknowledge God's work in our lives.
The green city in the sun.They should replace so many trees that were cut down along those highways Nairobi should just be green the way it used to look like back in the days

In regards to the foot bridge, from the clip 14:00, they should raise the protective barriers 2 feet higher or add protective bars etc, currently it's too low for safety, my take.
I’m in love with Nairobi. Lots of infrastructure development. Let’s hope the loans are paid back. As I travel the Continent all I see is China everywhere. Implementation of driving rules are necessary
Personally i think Chinese are doing the best compared to their predicessors in terms of infrastucture develoment .These highways are not different from what i have experiencd in several cities in China. May you inspire more #Dolphine254
Thanks for showing us status on ground,the flowers or the plants may not survive the high levels of pollution from vehicles.Otherwise they look beautiful.
