I was there in NYC for the 4th of July celebration. They unveiled the newly refurbished Statue of Liberty and had barges in the harbor for the fireworks. President Reagan's speech was the most inspirational I have ever heard. I was only 25 at the time. President Reagan was the best president in my lifetime.
One of the greatest President's in U.S.A history. Reagan was a President who brought back US pride. He guided our country from economic despair and turmoil. We are in need of that again due to a corrupt and inept administration that is so anti-American and feckless. I believe God will bring us a Leader who will deliver us again from the evil that is emanating throughout our land. God Bless the USA.
I will never forget and I will spend the rest of my life living these ideals to the best of my ability as a proud yet humble citizen of the greatest country on earth. Thank you Ronald Reagan and thank God that I was alive to experience you and your presidency. Thank God that my father was one of the Greatest Generation and my mother cut from the same cloth. God Bless America, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. May we Ever Be The Shining City on the hill as our collective American soul waits for the Lord, more than the watchmen who for the morning waits.

@@fenian123 Back then, respect was an integral part of politics. It ensured negotiation and compromise. Unfortunately, respect has vanished and childish whining has taken the place of moving forward.
What do you think? Not what CNN, Fox, your friends, Tik Tok thinks… YOU I bet you can’t form one single opinion that originates from your own critical thinking and learned knowledge from books or anything scholarly
