This one is going to be a ton of N O I S E. You have been warned.
During the September 22 live stream, I thought something might be wrong with the Belgrad filter as it was not making the sounds I remembered it making before I took the summer break. I set out to fiddle with it some, and quickly found the sound I was looking for :-)
Raunchy, filthy, dirty, gosh darn near pornographic... all the things I love about the XAOC Devices‪@xaocdevices13‬ Belgrad Dual Peak Filter! (and an insane amount of reverb who doesn't love reverb?)

Commenting while I’m watching (around half way through): that’s a great sounding patch! You asked about where that deep base drone was coming from - I think it’s present in the dry out of the Ensemble, and doesn’t get cut away when passing through the Belgrade. The modulation into the filter cutoff is opening up the filter to let higher frequencies through, but maintains the low drone. Nice vid!!

Oh nice! I figured the sub had to be coming through Belgrad, there was no other sound source. I just expected it to be "filtered out" and not so clear. I learned something new! Thank you!

Nice droning textures! Belgrad is so good. There's a lot of filters I've had/still have that are just very standard kinds of filters, but Belgrad is so unique. Some of my favourite basses came from DPO through Belgrad. I'll have to try ENOSC through it for bass soon and see how it goes :)

You definitely need a Spasm and a Sloths. Cheap too. My rack is going from 416 to 620 this week. A lot of benched gear is returning. Finally got a Rene and Tempi.

The rabbit hole is deep 😅 When you get Tempi up and running, let me know if it's "pulses" can be heard as clicks in your other audio, even if it's not jacked in. I am having major issues with a pulsing Tempi (you can kinda hear it at the end of this video as I was fading out.)

ughhh even after some years now the (not-so-funny part) is real. Eurorack is the only thing where if sit on it to learn something new but then there is this and this and why dont i try this and this and that.....and oh shit where did the last 5hrs go? and now i have to stop and do LIFE...yup..oohh shit i guess i didn't learn that thing I wanted to... What i'm trying to say if you have ADHD it is extremely hard to finish anything. ..but I do ...sometimes (rarely)

I do not have ADHD, but I cannot get shit done, everrrrr because there's just too much shit, man. Good shit, and some bad shit, I suppose. I like the good shit, though.

@@VisionsMusicGroup I have a XAOC Timiszoara, and then run an MPC One on the side with an Expert Sleepers ES-9 as audio interface, so feel pretty full up in effects. (Not too mention a Magneto, Monsoon, and plethora of other effect ish modules) But agree, effects make the drones (and modular)
